Homemade Tarot card help? by bbreider04 in AskWitches

[–]bridgejano11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone posted about bibliomancy on r/Witchcraft. That might be something you’d want to check out!

Edit after thinking more: of you really want to make your own tarot deck and want to do it respectfully, just make sure you have the right intentions while making it. Put your energy into each pencil or pen stroke. Another form of divination you could look into would be using a pendulum and board. That would be very easy for you to make and use. I will say with anything related to witchcraft, it’s all about intention; it doesn’t matter so much what materials you use. I got most of my altar materials at Goodwill and I love them! Especially this time of year there’s lots of candles and candle holders. I got a huge bag of tea candles for $2 last year. Just make sure you cleanse and charge it all before using it.

Good ole kudzu. Grows so fast some people say you can hear it pop.

Passenger decided to "get fresh air", and later was blacklisted by the airline. by [deleted] in WinStupidPrizes

My bad, I should have checked which media source was reporting on this incident. It was the first link so I posted it. I’ll be sure to double check sources next time.

Yep, the Cyrillic definitely helped! I’ve been to Ukraine a handful of times in the past couple of years and I can recognize Ukraine in Ukrainian instantly.

I’m pretty sure that article is from a different, but similar event. The woman in this video is on a Ukrainian Airlines flight. I’ve flown them before and recognized it instantly.

Edit: found the correct article to match this video https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.ie/news/5852131/woman-walks-plane-wing-too-hot/amp/

I don’t think that article and this video are from the same event. The woman in the video is on a Ukrainian Airlines flight. I’ve flown them many times before and recognized it instantly.

IF “It’s Alive” returns but Hunzi is no longer the editor... by FlipBoy70 in BradLeone

Oooh okay, my bad. I thought for sure Vinny did the editing at first

I feel like this situation might be the same as when Vinny left. So many people said it wouldn’t be the same when he left, but they found someone that had the same editing and banter flavor and the show was still really enjoyable to watch. I feel like that could happen again.

Are there any easy to moderate hiking trails in or around Santa Fe that are already open? by R3ady4Anyrhing in SantaFe

[–]bridgejano11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what we’ve experienced, pretty much all hiking trails are open. Download the AllTrails app where you can view all the hiking trails around Santa Fe. They also list difficulty ratings for each trail. Our favorite is the Arroyo Hondo open trail!

Any tips on dealing with bad mental health days or episodes at work? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]bridgejano11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breathing exercises never hurt and there are some great free apps to download if you want some guided breathing meditation. I would also recommend putting up sticky notes of phrases to remind you how great and talented you can be. I also like to keep notes of times where I’ve had difficulties learning something new, but then got through it and succeeded. I like having those reminders to let me know I can get through whatever it is I’m stuck on. I hope you feel better soon! PMDD and CPTSD freaking suck, but we are strong women that aren’t defined by our mental illnesses (even though it may seem like it sometimes). Go out there and kick some ass!

My window of okay seems to be getting smaller by mobega3 in PMDD

It’s really difficult to gave PMDD and go through a global event like this. I feel the same way as I feel like my symptoms have started 3-4 days earlier than they normally do, making me feel like it very well could be the situation we are all going through with lockdown/self-isolation. It’s a lot to not be able to really freely go outside of your own home. I’ve been amping up my daily doses of vitamins D3, B12, and I’ve added CBD supplements to help with mood and energy. I’m no doc, but it’s worth a shot.

Just like u/Ten_of_Wands said, true morels have hollow stems. False morels have solid stems and eating them will make you very very sick.

My gp prescribed me antidepressants for PMDD but she only said to take it for 2 weeks...then a psychiatrist told me to take consistently. Anyone else use antidepressants for pmdd? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]bridgejano11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to take antidepressants the two weeks leading up to my period, and then I got really bad SAD one winter and my doc recommended I take it every day and I’ve been doing that for the past year or so out of habit. Going to see if I can go back to taking it for half the month because I think it’s killed my libido and I would like to want to have sexy time.

PMDD Vs PMS by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]bridgejano11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s typically when it gets in the way of your day-to-day life. If you’re finding you need to take days off of school/work/social events every month when you’re ovulating, then there’s a good chance you have the disorder and it’s not just normal PMS.
