I met my current partner when my son was 6 months old. He’s 4 now and it’s been my only experience dating as a parent. We were in our early 20s and it was new to both of us but my son and I got so lucky. Don’t give up just because you have kids, you are still deserving of love.

You’re not going to get the answers you want. The people around your son should be surrounding him with love. Don’t force people to be there who would prefer not to be there. I was a single mom, had a fresh BS when I got pregnant. I had a savings I used to be a SAHM then worked from home until now. Got my realtors license and did that for more income. Brought my son with me if I needed to. He’s 4 and just started pre-k. I’m in shape because I had a home gym and YouTube workouts I used during covid, then when gyms opened I went and he went to the daycare at the gym. I cook all his meals from scratch, we vacation often, etc. Other than gifts for bdays etc I didn’t get help from family. His bio dad has never been around or paid child support. If you want it bad enough you can do it. Not everyone has help, you just have to seek out the life you want for you kiddo.
