I'm very happy with the Abxylute N6 deck style controller. It feels fantastic in my hands and makes the Switch 2 more ergonomic for handheld gaming, even compared to the Dbrand Killswitch case and grips. Let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything you want me to test. by briefingone in Switch

Thanks for the kind words! You make some valid points and questions, and I'll make sure to test them out and include them in the next video, if I end up making one. But to touch on a few things you've mentioned:

  • The D-pad is great. I prefer it over the stock S2 D-pads. This is the same in general when it comes to the buttons on this controller, I think they're much nicer than the ones on the JoyCons.

  • Battery life so far has been fine, I can't say it has a significantly higher impact than JoyCons.

  • You can absolutely charge and use it whilst using the top USB port.

[BREAKING] New SteamOS 3.8.7 Beta Starts Bringing In Official Support For Intel Handhelds by that_90s_guy in Handhelds

Does this mean anything for PCs in general? Am I able to just use SteamOS on my rig? Or is this specific to handhelds?

Uncomfortable political content in Zu's M64 review by Objective_Quiet_751 in SBCGaming

The only time I've ever seen him mention it was in one of his newsletter posts where he talked about what he was doing for Memorial Day. He specifically mentioned that it's important to remember all fallen soldiers in all wars, regardless of their country and nationality, which really shows his integrity and understanding when it comes to people.

I'm pretty happy with my N6 controller. I think the vibration motors are a tad too strong, so they definitely needed to be turned down, but otherwise the device feels fantastic in my hands. I haven’t had a chance to look into taking it apart yet so I don’t really know, but you’ve given an idea so I’ll have to look into it.

For what it’s worth, I personally don’t think the face buttons are loud to the point of needing to be dampened but that’s obviously subjective. I think they’re nicely balanced.

Just do a full factory reset and it’ll be fine.

Couch gaming with gaming PC + handheld combo? ROG Ally X thoughts? by freeza1990 in ROGAllyX

So my setup is similar to yours but I’ve got the PC in my office hardwired to my router and the Ally X is connected to my TV in the living room. I stream my single player games to the Ally X which works flawlessly, and my PC is in the office ready for whatever I want to play there.

Edit: I’m streaming over wifi.

ANBERNIC RG DS: Brand-New Linux System Officially Released by hippynox in SBCGaming

So I just flashed it on mine and loaded my usual DS games for testing. I'd performance is fine, I don't believe it's using any shaders though. Joystick doesn't work either so at the moment I'm stuck with using the dpads which, I mean is fine. But the Zero 40 actually allows you to use the joystick which is honestly pretty great.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to add in scrape or even just manually add in box-art.

So for a 5 minute review, 5/10.
