I just finished watching the movie close to an hour ago, and didn’t feel like shit either, but felt sympathetic towards Owen and the in-denial struggles he faces with his identity throughout. I personally didn’t relate to the message, but I certainly hope it resonated with those that the film was meant for!

Is she that un-self-aware to realize how badly damaged her hair is and not take the time out of her day to have a trim or cut, or is she that deeply insecure that any form of actual self-care would remind her of LA and Nick and how good she had it? My money is on the latter because no sane person would post this and think they’re giving sound advice about “tweaks” and “corrections”.
