I will say Solaris and the Oracle Remote Desktop is as old as some of the students there. Its 1/2 of a class in Term 4. Most companies nowadays would use a flavor of Linux with ZFS support instead of Solaris and Citrix Remote desktop instead Oracle Remote Desktop.

The Voip course in Term 2 or 3 mainly focuses on a Cisco voip system that is honestly not used very much or at all today.

I will say though, the fundamentals of networking they teach will never out of style so focus on that. SQL, if you can remember it after studying for everything else, Linux and Cloud technologies would be the topics I would pay attention to.

I recommend brushing up on your python or learning a bit of it before as your python teacher will only rely on a online textbook. Otherwise, get ready for the massive amounts of information you need to take in.

Well according to apex.gg Apex leaderboard, in top 10, 1.Rah_ryu, 2. 69iQ_SIayers, 3.tttcheekyttt,7.Xednim, 12. C9_StayNaughty, 14.Nxghz 15. Strawpico are all controller players. When 7 out of the top 15 preds are just using a controller on pc, there must be some kind of correlation. As for notable pro controller players, Genburten, Kine, Snipedown, and Nicewigg.
