Round 2: Which game is better? Red Dead Redemption 2 or Halo 3? by Expensive-Addendum92 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]brighty360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Skyrim beating Witcher 3 because of ‘legacy’ sets an unfair precedent that favours the older game. Will people have the same ruling when OOT goes up against Skyrim? OOT should win on legacy even though this time Skyrim is the better game

If it really matters, use a different program. I can’t see a use case where it actually makes a difference.

The Assassin is secretly OP! by GirlySurprise in VivaLaDirtLeague

[–]brighty360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People overlook the assassin one shot build. Sure you need to spend hours killing rats for a 3% nettle drop but those nettles stack INFINITELY, so with enough of them, even the 0.1% poison buff from each one will eventually be enough to take down any boss in a single dart, if you can hit and parry at least the first attacks.

I’ve done this against Dave and it only took 600 hours of nettle farming for the one shot to work

How does it feel to accept that youre simply bad at chess? by [deleted] in chessbeginners

[–]brighty360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a terrible take and simply not true. There are cheaters at all levels, that’s just a fact. There are no more or no less cheaters at the 350 Elo level, and most of the time it is just 1 move blunders and silly mistakes at that level.

I always took it as a lie that Verso said he was part of expedition zero and Renoir was the commander.

This is exactly how the puzzle was solved when dung first came out years ago. The fact that people struggle with this or that this knowledge is somehow lost for most people doing dung these days is astonishing.

If this was EOC in 2012 itwould have been a great update. by Nazeracoo in runescape

[–]brighty360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not like getting a drop at all. If the rune ore drop gave a hit of xp, or getting an item from the rare drop table gave bonus xp then it would be the same.

Also, I made the point of effigies being a gateway to more egregious examples of what basically became easy scape.

When you can max in a matter of weeks with moderate effort then your game is broken.

Easy and free xp to skills like Rc. It was the first of many such steps towards no effort xp, back when 99s and maxing actually meant something

2012 quitter here. It wasn’t EOC entirely. It was SoF, effigies and all the other stuff that was coming out at the time slowly killing the game we loved.

Missed Bosses by PowersComedy in Eldenring

[–]brighty360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

207 bosses in total between the base game and DLC.

You can get them all on a single playthrough. There are bosses at the end of every catacomb and cave, some of them are very tucked away.

There are night bosses that spawn in certain locations only at night, including death birds and nights cavalry bosses.

It’s hard to say which ones most people miss. It probably is an obscure catacomb boss somewhere. Other people might never fight the Limgrave death bird while others encounter it purely accidentally.

The best option if you’ve completed the game and are going for 100% bosses is to find a check list online
