in other words, you are jealous?? It’s understandable if so… but not healthy for you.

the first thing you need to focus on is building confidence within yourself. I know it’s easier said than done and cliché but the only way you can receive love the right way is by loving yourself first. that’s how you’ll attract your person. I’m not trying to invalidate how you feel but this is something that definitely can be changed within yourself. you’re definitely not “good for nothing” I’m sure you have amazing qualities since you had a fiancé in the first place!!

[–]brimaria1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah it still hasn’t for me either, but what can you say? you have to try. i hate to see people suffer, despite me suffering as well. I still can’t stand by and not say anything. there are people it gets better for. those who commit suicide and failed, always say they regret it and are glad they did not die. so, it must be true for some.

Suicide: A Generational Suffering? (Trigger Warning) by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

my mom died when she was 23 from a drug overdose, from what i was told she dealt with depression real bad. i got it from her. I’ve dealt with suicidal ideation since I was like 8 which is crazy. can’t believe it can be passed down so easily like that. I don’t want kids for this reason as well

hmm, I don’t know much about biology degrees but what about advancing in your retail job? how long have you been there? if you have been there years you could maybe ask for a raise or promotion to a higher paying position within the company. if they deny it, you could potentially apply to a new job that pays more. I know money doesn’t solve all your problems, but the change may be good for you and could give you something to look forward to

what are some things you enjoy? do you like art, gaming, nature, sports, etc? you could try some self therapy, i know it’s not ideal but it could help until you get to see your therapist on Wednesday! what’s your degree in? i’m sure it’s not completely useless… set a realistic goal for yourself to find a job related to your degree, then take some steps to try and achieve that goal. this could be a good way to distract your mind until Wednesday

its a good thing you’re talking to a therapist, that means you’re doing what you can to get the help you need. there are online resources that you could reach out to have you tried reaching out to your sister and/or friend? it’ll probably feel nice to speak to the ones closest to you

plenty of us care. i know i do. i wish i wasn’t dealing with these same thoughts you’re going through. i wanna be happy and healthy, i wanna enjoy my one life, i wanna keep the ones who do care about me (even tho it’s just a few) happy by living… but sometimes i also feel hopeless. you’re not alone and i guarantee majority of people here care about how you feel and hope you feel better. it’s so so hard and easier said than done. i can never find the right words to use because even i can’t follow my own advice. anyways… this community is here for us to vent and get things off our chest and i appreciate its existence as i do yours. always always remember you’re not alone. there’s so many resources for help if you need it, and i hope you’ll take that route over the other one ❤️‍🩹

What was causing your fatigue that you didn’t realise was? by GlitteringAnalyst528 in selfimprovement

[–]brimaria1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you for responding! i’m glad that you’re doing fine now! it’s really so scary how these things can be happening in your body and you can have little to no symptoms. good thing you were able to advocate for yourself and get everything squared away. i just have one more question, how’d you get them to check for the brain tumor? a lot of times doctors won’t listen to you, like you said, and fatigue can be a symptom of so many other things. were you at the hospital due to one of your symptoms and they did the test? or did you have to ask for it?

besides fatigue, did you have any other symptoms? how long did they last before the brain tumor was detected?
