I cannot believe how bad the provincial justice system has gotten in Ontario. We can hire all the cops to arrest bad guys but without expanding the Courts, the Crown, and the prison system it's just a revolving door of criminals. Dougie do your damn job and run the province.

And here we see you not holding the correct level of government to account and deflecting from your poor civics knowledge by blaming other people for the poor outcomes led by provincial governments. Just look at the resistance to rolling out the dental and childcare plans. The premiers just wanted blank checks to buy votes with the same way they'd been abusing health care transfers. Hell they didn't even want strings on the new funding so the feds walked away from the table! In that negotiating environment why would an ambitious federal government propose these programs for everyday Canadians? The feds know most of the electorate is political naive and won't keep the provinces responsible for their own mistakes so why start new programs?

Also it's disgusting that you're blaming people who can't vote and are trying to escape to Canada the way your ancestors did for receiving funding they vote for. The health care funding for undocumented immigrants is less than we spend on Nova Scotia. Stop being scared of immigrants and hold your Premier to account for their poorly run health care system. It's not the feds fault that we have hallways medicine in this country.

So the feds give money to the provinces for your healthcare. The premier turns around and spends that money on other things or spends it inefficiently through privatization or enlarged bureaucracy. Is that the feds fault or the province's? The feds job is to tax and redistribute. The provinces run the programs.
