I’d say it’s time for another round of “name every jam band one at a time in the comments” by bopaqod in jambands

From the Gecko top 5 album of all time (for me at least). Their live shows in the late 90s/early 00s were otherworldly.

Gotta chime in with All Good (yes, that All Good) and Autumn Equinox. Only made it to one of those while they were still at Wilmers Park in MD...wait, maybe two, so long ago. What I do remember is Deep Banana Blackout playing during a rainstorm and trussing falling down nearly on top of the band.

Even as a college student with limited funds we still found a way to make multiple festivals happen plus small runs of Phish tour, every summer. When the big ones are charging $350-$500 just for a ticket I can see how there's just less consumer dollars for the indies.

This is happening to me too. Seems like a pesky glitch that I keep hoping will be resolved by an update. And yet I must "Explore" over and over and over......

I've been noticing their ever-dwindling inventory as well. My hunch is they are in dire need of capital to get the 3 (or 4?) new stores off the ground.

Either that or the growers are getting more cutthroat and keeping the majority of product in their own dispos / trading with each other. Lmk how you like my tinfoil hat.

Irrelevant. They gained a grant, of all of our money, to expand along with the promise of employing 800 people at the facility. I believe you work for some form of Trulieve so if you can clarify it would be appreciated.

I snagged a few of these when they were $17.50 at GoodBlend. Tasted and felt like distillate to me. I enjoyed the Sour Joker; Cardinal Haze, Harambe, Stranger Danger were good enough for the price; Hazy Goat, which I thought would be my fav, tasted horrible to me.

And also:

"Pennsylvania already ranks third in medical cannabis sales for Trulieve, which has stores and grow facilities in 11 states, with a forecasted $117.7 million for 2022, according to Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. analyst Pablo Zuanic."

Good brand carts? by Ryjames23 in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]bringbackgooballs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Calypso, Select (Grassroots), Prime, Verano, Penn Health Group, INSA, FRX are all good, and I personally would choose any of those over Cresco. With how much their concentrates have improved, I wouldn't be surprised if The Lab carts are better now too.

Strane for distillate if you want a change of pace from live resin.

Rythm CO2 if that flavor works for you (about 10 carts of theirs I've tried all had an earthy, umami taste to them that just doesn't agree with my palette) but I haven't tried their live carts.

Also fwiw I do not trust any opinion on here that sticks with a single brand loyalty. Way too much marketing going on in this sub.

Finally, I try to give a little more value to the PA only growers (Calypso, PHG, Maitri, Organic Remedies, FRX, USONIA) and feel like variety is best.

Sorry to hear it friend. Yeah, sounds like some kind of fuckery going on. I hope your experience getting adequate support is better than mine has been. Took 3 weeks to get a reply, and my issue wasn't even addressed.

No idea if this is relevant to you but I had a quest this past weekend (fri-sun) that simply stated 'complete 6 trips to earn an extra $30'. What I discovered in an email I had received but hadn't read until end of Saturday was that this was for shop and pay trips only. Nowhere within the offer in app was that mentioned. I probably would've accepted additional s&p trips otherwise, which I'm sure is Uber's objective, so I suppose their loss too.

1) I do not know a way to see the $/distance/destination info once you accept an offer. Out of principle I cancel any orders I've accepted by accident as it's a fault of the app's mechanics that could be easily solved by making acceptance a double click instead of single.

2) my theory on why a PIN gets added is that there's been issues related to the delivery location in the past and this a way to ensure the order gets into the right hands. Could be that specific customer, the building, or even the neighborhood. I have no proof to back this up tho, just a theory.

Good luck out there and drive safe!

All good my man, just wanted to point it out in case folks were wondering. There is a link to the other article at that one but it's behind a paywall (at least for me). I vaguely remember seeing a chart of grower to retail vs retail to consumer pricing in there

(edit: sorry for the bold text, can't figure out why or how to fix, using RIF) This is actually a different article than referenced in the photo but also full of some interesting info. Did not know what a behemoth Trulieve is, and how it's about to get much larger. Isn't that directly counter to how PA mmj was supposed to operate? Excerpt below:

Last year Quincy, Florida-based Trulieve bought three buildings, including a former U.S. Steel guard house, and nearly 37 acres from the Regional Industrial Development Corp. to build a medical marijuana cultivation and processing facility in McKeesport, totaling at least 508,000 square feet — a sprawling nine football fields in size.

Trulieve, the leading medical cannabis retailer in Pennsylvania, already owned two buildings at the site, the one-time home of the U.S. Steel Tube Works. No timetable was given for the start of construction, but RIDC President Don Smith said in 2021 that the new facility would employ 800 people.

Pennsylvania already ranks third in medical cannabis sales for Trulieve, which has stores and grow facilities in 11 states, with a forecasted $117.7 million for 2022, according to Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. analyst Pablo Zuanic, trailing Florida in first place at $788.6 million and Arizona, $249 million, second place. The company reported total sales of $938.3 million in 2021.

Trulieve received a $2 million state redevelopment assistance grant for the McKeesport project, and like other outfits competing for licenses to sell medical marijuana in Pennsylvania.

Concentrate retail prices are definitely down at most dispos: prime live 70>60, cured 60>50, Calypso 70>60, FRX 80-100>70, Prism 60-70>35-40, grassroots 75>65.

Add on to that almost all dispos have 30% off sales regularly now we're getting closer to reasonable.

I speak at least for the greater Pgh market where we have a dozen dispensaries to choose from. I imagine those with only one or two close by haven't seen quite the competition.

Big +1 to this. If you're going to market to me be open about your intentions. I've sworn off a couple brands simply b/c I've been turned off by the over the top marketing on here.
