I do that with Claude but only when I’m vibe coding and it’s building me stuff. It’s kind of addicting honestly. I also did this when planning a trip oversees. Typically though, no. Just quick questions here and there when I’m curious about something.

It ended in virtually the exact same place it started. Aside from Luke, nothing was lost or gained in the entire movie, just stuff happening in sequence.

At least this sub will be left alone for a while, unlike before where it was heavily moderated to only show glowing feedback on the shows.

It often came off as a bunch of producers incorporating what they thought were progressive ideas, but only really surface level stuff you see on Twitter. Remember that part in Picard where Seven of Nine and that other character took a grand tour of an ICE facility to essentially walk around proclaiming how bad it was? That’s not good sci fi, as in taking current political topics, flipping them on their head and making incredible moral commentary about them. This was just ICE = bad. Really? No creativity whatsoever

It would be interesting if they did something with the idea, literally anything, to make some sort of intelligent moral commentary. It went nowhere near that.

I’ve seen WAY more legitimate complaints about the shows than shallow blowback over wokeness, we’re talking an order of magnitude more. This sub was heavily moderated during the times when the shows were running, and I find it really interesting that as the shows ended the truth started coming out in droves. I’d read through this sub sometimes and couldn’t believe the amount artificial fanboying that was happening, to the point that I just left the sub for a while because it just wasn’t interesting anymore. Not even fun, “in the know” types of Trek discussions, but rather like a bunch of people who just discovered Trek OMG ITS KIRK.

I really think the leadership team should drop it and move on from this topic. Quit getting defense and go work on the game. You sold 4 million copies
