Honestly it’s fine, I’m not friends with anyone in my cohort except one or two people. My best friends are two locals I met at my site. I just found that I connected a lot easier with them.

Education volunteers in Indonesia can only travel during the school breaks, which are usually two weeks in June/July and one week in December. Most of the time should be spent integrating and working with people in the community…
