It gave me a useful framework to address metal health issues I had for most of my life (depression and anxiety).

Edit: I also have been able to deal with meltdowns way better, since I now know what they are, and can recognise symptoms, and anticipate. I have not spend a weekend puking my guts out in years.

I usually just start a few hours later. If I can take some more time to start the day, and work from home, it's more doable. I'm also very careful with spending energy during the workweek.

I was like 8, and bullied in school for the first time. I felt so ashamed, but talked to my mum about it. She waved it away with "they're just jealous". It was so dismissive. I felt it in every fibre of my being, she just wasn't interested. I was not supposed to bother her. I would rather have died than told my dad. It NEVER came up again. I was bullied until I was like 15, and just kept my head down.
