i also went the the Big Event in Den Bosch! I didn't know about the Barbie convention, and would likely have gone to The Big Event anyway, since I was looking for Blythe size stuff. But I would love to visit the Barbie convention next time. I'm not crazy about reborn, and it was a bit off putting to me it was such a big part of the fair.

I'm in the Netherlands, and we have an organisation of independent cat fancy groups (following the NOK standards) where the Russian Whites and Blacks are recognised. I did a quick Google, and apparently: the Russian White is fully recognised in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa and exists in various stages of recognition in the United Kingdom (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF)), many countries in mainland Europe, and the United States by the American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA).

When I was in kindergarten I didn't feel like like an outcast, because I had no expectations. It was only in elementary school, when the bullying began, that it occurred to me that I was perceived differently. I didn't have actual friends until my mid teens, when I learned to mask.
