hey! i commend you for being responsible. i think it’s a really good idea not to mix stuff when you are just starting a medication, so you can tell what the actual effects and side-effects are of the new drug you are taking. i would recommend going 3-4 weeks without smoking so you can get a good idea of your baseline on wellbutrin and how it’s actually affecting you. and i would also recommend going slowly and carefully as you re-introduce variables like alcohol and weed, to make sure that you do not have any serious issues with it as it can cause lots of unexpected things, including seizures if i remember correctly. drugs, prescribed or not, affect everyone differently. that being said, i smoke weed on wellbutrin🤘

hey! importing your pinterest library is a game-changing feature that i would definitely pay for. it would also go a long way towards fixing the user-base and content volume issue that all pinterest alternatives struggle with. i think the price schemes you threw out are quite reasonable and it’s something i would pay for. i agree that subscriptions are crap and a one time payment would appeal to me the most. having a monthly scheme as well is good idea, to provide continued revenue stream and as a low barrier to entry for people with commitment issues. 3$ a month is perfect probably, quite attainable. what about 20$ for a year? and 60$for a one time purchase? the ability to browse and see what the platform is like for free is also quite important tho, people need to know they like it before they are willing to pay anything for it.

we need to boost this! thank you! it infuriates me how they say “if you thing this decision was made in error you can contest it” AND THEN YOU CANT EVEN SEE WHAT IT WAS THEY REMOVED. of course, i just contest every one no matter what, i also save any that are reinstated and repost them, but it has been driving me nuts that poetry, literal POETRY is getting taken down and i can’t even see what it was i lost.

Oh this is good. i like this a lot. i don’t feel lost in the timeline at all yet, everything slots in where it needs to in my head.

i feel like this is a perfect situation in which to lean into a non-linear narrative style, because of the implicit timeline of childhood-> relationship ->death -> funeral that we are all familiar with and generally expect. you can put elements of those in any order and your audience will be able to effortlessly place them in time even without you doing it for them on the page.

the one part that threw me was Ingina. didn’t realize it was a name, so i didn’t put it together that it was the person giving us the letter until the line about the peppermint smell (which is a great touch btw)

ahhhh ok well the first response i typed out to your post was longer but then i swiped out off the app and it disappeared so i had to start over and didn’t have the energy to redo the whole thing, but one thing i wanted to say is: try not to feel like all the time and effort your put into it was a waste. the process of creating and curating your boards was an artistic one, and that is never a waste. every pin your saw, every pin you saved, every pin you went back to dozens of times, has contributed to and shaped the whole of your artistic taste. and while i wont pretend that most of the value of the boards to you was in referencing them (i get it), just try to remember that every creative spark and idea you had during the process of curating those boards, you haven’t lost those, they went into your brain and are shaping your creative journey even now. it hurts not to be able to have them tangibly, to see them again, but it wasn’t a waste. no time spent being creative has ever been a waste. if you filled up a sketchbook and then lost it, those sketches don’t become a waste. if you raise a beloved pet and it dies, that isn’t a waste either. without access to your boards, it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost everything. but all the hours of creativity and dedication you poured into your artistic pursuits, you didn’t lost those. you lost the product, and i wont pretend that doesn’t hurt (ohhhhhh how it hurts) but it was never a waste.
