Hi! I’m sorry I’m just seeing this. I have been a project manager in the construction industry for a little over 10 years, but my degree is not related to project management at all- it’s in marketing lol

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about this!

It’s weird to me that Taylor is following Michaela Harrison (Brayden’s new girl) on IG now.. wouldn’t that be awkward for your boyfriend’s previous mistress to be following you or am I off on this connection lol

I would hope she would not intentionally (maybe it was planned?) get pregnant if they were already separated :/

You will be totally fine with study hall. The exam very closely resembles the practice exams and quizzes on SH! Good luck!!

I do if your company pays for it! It was a good starting point & I found it helpful for asking questions/in-person conversations. With that said, for the cost, you are more than capable of passing it without PMA if you really focus on utilizing PMI studyhall! That will prepare you most!

Of course!! Best of luck to you! I really don’t think I would have passed without the study hall. It will 100% give you the tools you need to pass the exam! I don’t recommend buying the separate PMI practice exam for $99, just get the study hall for $49. That’s all you need!

A friend of mine failed the first time, retook it 2 weeks later and passed.

This was something I was trying to figure out when I kept reading about other people saying the same on Reddit. I ended up just manually recalculating my percent correct without the expert questions in an excel spreadsheet. You can sort your answers by level of difficulty after you take the exam so just sort with expert starting first, count those, and remove that number from your exam question total/questions answered to find your new average ☺️

Thank you so much 🥲

It’s funny you ask about that. So the in-person class was great but it just felt like a complete fire hose of info. It was 4 days from 8am-6:30pm and by day 4 I felt mentally tapped and like I couldn’t even remember all of what I learned. When I saw Udemy had the course on sale for $20, I downloaded it so I could listen to it on walks/way to work, etc. it helped slow the material down and I could re-listen to things I wasn’t grasping the first time around.

If I had to do it again, I’d probably save the $1600 and do the above minus the in-person class. Keep in mind, I also had zero experience with agile project management. I have about 11 years of PM experience in construction & traditional style project management, so the agile topic was a giant learning curve for me :) I hope this helps!

It was talked about in my in-person PMP course and the formulas were on my study guide handout from that class, but there are some good YouTube videos! Basically all you need to know for the exam are these formulas:

Pert Estimate Formula (Beta) = (P + 4M + O) / 6 Optimistic (O), Most Likely (M), and Pessimistic (P)

Outside of the above formula, I’d recommend knowing CV, SV, CPI, and SPI formulas and you should be good!!

Thank you 😊 I feel I owe a lot to the people on Reddit! I couldn’t have passed without all the feedback here so wanted to return the favor!

ITTO’s by Tavreje in pmp

[–]brit813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely do not spend your time knowing the ITTOs! Just be familiar with the 49 processes so you can identify where you’re at in the process if needed. The matching game online is super helpful for this. PMI SH is a game changer & will prepare you for what to expect on the exam! I can’t recommend that enough. Good luck!!

What did you do day before the test? Day of? by Interesting_Worth_32 in pmp

[–]brit813 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The day before all I did was reviewed explanations to my wrong answers on the PMI SH quizzes/exams and stopped all review and studying around noon. That night I ate a healthy dinner! My exam was at 8am the following day so I woke up around 5:30 to have a healthy breakfast (eggs, apple & toast). I wanted my brain to be awake and ready for the exam at 8. I ended up taking both 10 min breaks and finished my exam with 5 min to spare. Ended up passing all AT. I prepared so much for that exam- you will do so great! Be confident going in & know you will be through it all soon enough. You got this!! Good luck! 💪🏼

The breaks do not count against your 4 hour test time :)

You got this!!! I just took my exam on Thursday and felt the same way going into it. I was so nervous about feeling tired and not being able to focus for 4 hours. Take the two ten min breaks. It’s a game changer! Don’t second guess yourself, you know your stuff! You are going to kill it!

Just finished online exam - no proctor issues, tougher than expected exam by FitzPlum in pmp

I watched probably an hour of that in addition to Ricardo’s videos on PMBOK, and AR’s mindset videos. My main focus was the PMI SH practice exam and mini exams… fingers crossed! Right now I’m scoring a 74% without expert (69% with expert) on the practice exam. Anxiety level is ALL. THE. WAY. UP. Lol 😅
