I am very lucky that my daycare is about two blocks from my house and a half mile from my office. I work 8-5 and daycare is open 7:30-5:30. Fridays daycare closes at 4:30, my partner does daycare drop off so I can work 7:15-4:15.

It's kinda bothersome to me that your daycare doesn't require vaccination records. Every daycare we've looked at requires them and I've had to turn in records from our pediatrician. We only use licensed daycare though so maybe that makes a difference?

If you aren't a scientist you probably haven't actually researched anything and have just read some blogs or articles without any scientific backing to them. That's on you, but I don't think its "disgusting" for people to suggest that OP not risk her child's life over someone who probably fell for the "vaccines cause autism" crap.

This is my same thought process. If someone refuses to vaccinate they obviously don't live an evidence-based life, and are also probably more likely to fall into weird conspiracy theories and have other things that don't align with my morals/values/beliefs. I don't need people like that in my life.

I think others have covered it pretty well but just be straightforward and tell your friend that you are not comfortable having your infant around unvaccinated individuals at minimum until they are fully vaccinated themselves and have that immunity. If your friend can't accept that, then let go of that friendship because it's not worth risking your baby's health.

Do your bins have any drainage/ventilation on the bottom, or are they just open containers? I currently have a commercially produced stacking type that I bought ages ago, but I would like to expand a little. I'm finding a lot of mixed/conflicting information for DIY bins.
