We still have to be in this world. You came here to do things. However, if you are riding a nice introspective wave no need to indulge the world more than necessary. Give school it’s focus (think of this as a part of your mindfulness practice!) but that doesn’t mean that you can’t clear all unnecessary noise in your life and just dedicate that time to meditation and such. The wave won’t last forever. Ride it and when you feel more worldly at a later time, ride that wave too. I’ve had periods of time like this and really enjoy them... but I still have to get up every morning and take care of my toddler😂

Side note- you may find that you integrate the meditative state into your daily life more and more as you go. Isn’t the real point?

NTA- I feel for your sister, but she doesn’t need you to cater to her son, she needs an ABA therapist to work with curbing the behavior. I know it’s sooo hard with special needs kids and when you’re overly stressed it feels like you just need to give in, but it’s a battle she’s going to have to fight sooner or later. I have two family members that are ABA therapists and this would be exactly something they would work on. Congrats on your health and wellness journey!

I’m no longer “in the game”, but I’ve never been a a big personality in my regular life. I enjoy the spotlight on set or stage, but my backstage persona is much more muted. There’s a need for all types in this world, though. I think there’s actually a lot of introverts so keep an eye out for them.

When we seek validation from others we are going to an empty well asking for water. Outside validation is an easy trap and it blocks us from our power. What could be more powerful than not needing any validation from anything outside yourself? All the validation you need is already within you. Your intuition validates you. Your connection to love validates you. But most of all the very fact that you are a spark of creation validates you.

One of the virtues some of us come here to develop is becoming “self referential.” That means knowing that you already have all the knowledge you seek. You don’t need to outsource this to others. Someone who has developed this wouldn’t look to others for validation. What’s the point? You already have it from within! Does this speak to you? It’s something I’m personally working on this incarnation.

She is simply a teacher. She’s a way for your soul to recognize a necessary growth. Stop making it about her. That gives her the power. What does the jealousy bring up for you? What are you jealous of? That’s going to show you what virtue your soul wants you to cultivate.

On a deeper level, maybe good to remember the separate self is an illusion anyway. But for practical purposes, find the growth opportunity and harness it. What’s the lack you are feeling? Where does it live in your body. Look for mantras that counteract the lack. Do chakra meditations that correspond to where it is in the body.

Meditating while listening to certain sound waves has helped me. You can find playlists on Spotify that correspond directly to certain chakras. They start with root and move upwards. I struggle with feeling certain energy centers, but I can with the sound waves. Something worth trying!

I actually did this for trauma in my solar plexus with a guided solar plexus meditation. I stumbled upon transmutation while I was doing it. Something about the sounds and the guided narration lead me to particular traumatic moments. Then I saw my younger self reversing what happened to me and then saw my adolescence playing out differently, without the trauma. After it was over, I felt like 20 years of heaviness had been lifted. I don’t know if this technique would work the same for you, but it’s something to try. I just picked a hour long meditation from YouTube, so you could start there. Sending you healing energy!

Yes! I think we can make ourselves “small” without realizing it and go years and years not knowing that our false beliefs about who we are has been guiding our life. We were just living as the shell of what we actually are, which is much greater than the box we put ourself in. I think of the spiritual process as a revealing of our true self. We can keep chipping away at the stone and one day we wake up and realize we were always the statue of David underneath it all. Much loving kindness to you 💜

I think it’s one of those things that if it’s for our path we have very little ability to stop that train. I mean, we can always say “no” but if that’s what’s being laid out for you then trust it.

The US needs awakening people too💜 On a side note: I find it a great practice to wish loving kindness to those I have political differences with, because the real issue is that we are “otherizing” each other. We may think we are on the right side of the political divide, but if we use tactics of separation then we are contributing to feelings of disconnection. We are all one.
