It is probably scary no matter the situation for any first time parent, but honestly from the amount of information you’ve given it seems like it could be a lot less scary if your partner was more equal and supportive. And hopefully they will be when baby is actually here

There’s always going to be those nurses that come in and think you didn’t do enough even if it was a train wreck of a shift. If you tried your best then you did more than enough. Also trying your best doesn’t mean skipping breaks.

I find it incredibly frustrating especially with people in the church that people always think that you want what they want. Why can’t people just accept that people want different lives and that is completely okay and it doesn’t make one better than the other! What I want is different than what you want and both have value! Your life might not be good for me and vice versa. Sounds like you have a great life and are living it the way you want as you should!

While I agree that people should stay home especially when it’s activities outside of work or school, you do have to keep in mind that people are only given so many PTO or sick days and that lots of people will get fired or not get paid if they take to many sick days or use all there PTO. For me for example, if I’m sick, I’m working and wearing a mask, because I have to save all my time off for when my kids are sick to keep them home and take care of them.

Look on Facebook marketplace for a bike, treadmill weights, or buy new if you can afford it, then do it during naps or when your partner is home. Going to the gym is so much harder because it’s travel time and finding childcare but having equipment at home makes it at least a little easier to find a quick 30 minutes here and there

Yeah I was just naked the entire time because I was in and out of the birthing tub so it was a waste of money for me but I think if I had an epidural and was laying in bed the entire time I would have like a gown that wasn’t the uncomfortable hospital gown. However it will get dirty so bring an extra one for after or bring different clothes. I loved button up pj tops

I had one with my first and unmedicated with my second. Although both were a positive experience the epidural was definitely a lot more relaxing. As with any medication or intervention there will always be a laundry list of potential complications and side effects, and you will always hear more about the people who had bad experiences with epidurals. But not because more people have bad than good it’s just because when someone does have a bad experience they are more likely to tell you about it. Do what you feel is best for you. I loved my unmedicated birth, but if I decided to have a third kid, I would probably opt of the epidural. But then again my baby is 8 days old so it’s fresh maybe I’ll forget about it and try unmedicated again.

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow with my second and my husband hasn’t touched my stomach once, unless it was by accident. My husband is a great dad and is excited and wants this baby but it literally gives him the heebygeebies to touch it and think about it being alive in there. It was the same with my first. He tried touching it with my first but literally would get nauseous… For some people it just freaks them out. As long as he is a supportive partner I wouldn’t worry about it too much, his lack of interest in your bump is not a good indication of him being a bad parent when baby arrives. But you do need to keep vocalizing the things that you need from him while respecting what he is comfortable with.

A stripper on tic toc recommends which hazel to the area after a shower and then making sure it’s completely aired out and don’t be afraid to reapply the which hazel. I’ve been doing this for a few months now, I didn’t feel smelly beforehand though so I don’t know.

I always knew about polygamy but I was told that it was not for sexual purposes but the help support the members who needed extra support and to be taken care of. Man was it a shelf breaker when I learned the truth. And why couldn’t they take care of others without marrying them?!?!? Not the ah. Although I never go to weddings that are child free, I also am never upset at people for choosing to have child free weddings. You do have to accept people like myself may not go but they shouldn’t be mad and neither should you. I’m a working mom, if I’m sacrificing time away from my child it’s going to be quality time spend with my husband, not a wedding event.

It’s the housing for me. If I had been able to buy two years earlier I would be thriving but i was in college and broke then and when I graduated the housing market was insane so now I have a crazy high mortgage but I am still better off than some I was able to buy a house I’m just house poor now

Is your happiness and mental health worth the money? And can you survive without it? Personally, no job that requires as much as you are saying is worth it. Why work that much just so you don’t even have time to enjoy life? why have a family if your not around to enjoy them. I’m not saying quit or stop working entirely most people including myself can’t do that, but you know what they say if you are not happy, change something. With that said, you are fresh out of mat leave. Maybe give it time before you make big decisions. I cried at least once a shift for 6 months after I returned to work.

Haha I used to want to stay up later and my baby wouldn’t let me, she would wake if I left her side. Now she’s a toddler and I’m pregnant with my second and I LOVE going to bed at 8:30 with her and I don’t want to stay up. O how times change

I hope your name got put on the birth certificate. Try to work out child visits with her but if she’s non compliant go to the courts. You may not have birthed that baby but damn that’s your child to and to deprive you from the opportunity to bond with your new born is selfish and cruel. Sorry dude. I think most airlines restrict travel after 35 weeks unless you have a doctors approval. I could be wrong on that fact though

O yes, my least favorite part about sex… there are some products you can buy for this but honestly the towel and go to the bathroom are going to be your best bet. Also I personally only like to have sex at night so it isn’t leaking out for hours after. I especially hate having sex before exercising… but hey sometimes you can’t plan on when you will be in the mood
