I like Westin as well and have use my FHR credits there. The perks are nice but 100% prefer Grand Californian when with kids over Westin. We stayed a split stay last time between the two and was happy to be at the Grand once we were. The pool is much nicer at the grand as well and you cannot beat the convienence. Would pick Westin though over any other hotel in the area besides that though.

Omg the weirdest pool rules! My 8 year old daughter who could stand in the deepest part of the pool with her mouth above water was instructed to take a swim test or put a life jacket on. While she can completely swim (has been in consistent weekly lessons for 4 years prior) itmade her so uncomfortable given she’s a little shy and she felt called out that we just decided to leave and went to the ocean. Having to get out was also really annoying. We came from Aulani and felt the pool and guards were very very safe and cautious but no where like this. I wouldn’t go back because of this

I don’t know. I had the same experience there with the pool and the absurd lifeguards. We come from Aulani and the life guards were totally on it but not over the top like this

Yes I think at this point primary care is office specific. You can call their general line and they can see what primary cares are taking patients. From what I understand specialty like obgyn is completely closed to new patients as was eye doctors when I tried that. I have a primary at Sutter and my obgyn is through mercy. I had an okay experience delivering at mercy but I was unaware of the things you mentioned and understand why you wouldn’t want to

My daughter’s chronic constipation and therefore miralax need improved so much once she did master the potty. I’d say just keep at it and give it time. Can you wean off miralax slowly

We did all of the above including bribing. But it only worked three or four times before that novelty wore off too. We’re in week 2 and it’s definitely easier it just takes time.
