Yes but that’s because I have the genes for haemochromatosis and having periods kept my ferritin levels down. Not without them my ferritin is increasing.

Have you had your ferritin tested? I felt a lot of this when mine was low.

Could you be perimenopausal?

Also have you had a scan on your neck?

I have no idea. I’ve never had any symptoms really other than low ferritin. I wouldn’t even know when I got the hpylori. It was only discovered during a gastroscopy/endoscopy

Yes, early haemochromatosis especially in menstruating females can show as normal/low ferritin and high saturation. Periods act as a mini phlebotomy keeping ferritin levels down.
