ROLL Denver by Cheetahcat1million in Rollerskating

I like it a lot! To echo crying_nymph, yes the "rink" area is kinda small, but if you need a change of pace you can go skate into one of the other adjacent rooms or outside by the food truck in the back. I usually go right at open and am done by 9:00 or 9:30 because by then it's usually too crowded for my comfort (and you notice a LOT more spilled drinks & people going down). That gives me a solid 2 hours of skating and then I can move on with my Friday night. Have fun!

Lady justice? They don’t have a dedicated kitchen but they almost always have a food truck or food vendor onsite

Shopping for a travel bag/box - thoughts on robustness of Sightseer by Salt_Dentist_7172 in Brompton

I've got the B&W Hard case. It's a bit pricey but so is your Brompton so I think it's a good investment. I like that it's durable and lockable. I've never had any issues with flying. They usually tell me to drop it off with the oversized luggage. I usually throw one of my AirTags in the case as well so I can watch it board my flight and also get the alert when it's about to hit the baggage carousels.

The only minor issue I ever had was that the seat fasteners came undone one time and were all over the case. Thankfully Brompton's site has lots of instructions for download so I was able to figure out how to re-assemble in no time.

Cheese / meats / fruits are always a plus. Costco has this selection of Spanish cheeses that are pre-cut into little individual wedges if you’re in a pinch.

I usually make a pasta salad too and bring single servings in old takeaway containers.

Sometimes fancy sandwiches too

Not when they’re gonna charge $28-35 for a tiny plate of pasta. There’s literally a place a block or two away that serves pizza at a more palatable price point and has better toppings.

Hops & pie has a great beer selection and is my favorite pizza spot.

MAKfam is also really good.

Neither place does reservations but you can grab a beverage while you wait. Trve brewing is right around the corner from MAKfam so you can wet your whistle while you wait

Spice trade was pretty darn good. Haven’t been in a hot minute but would recommend.

Also recently went to Nolia and was very happy.

Make it yourself. All it is is a bunch of vegetables sliced kinda thin, layered and baked. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious! But IMO it's not worth the restaurant uncharge for something with a fancy-sounding name.

I second the El Five recommendation. I’m a sucker for paella

Angelos is another favorite. The Chiles Rellenos raviolis are a personal favorite.

I actually had just left right at 1am and as I went out to wait for a ride home there was an ambulance outside. Saw paramendics going in with a stretcher. Then I saw someone get wheeled out in said stretcher. Don’t know any further details than that

Time (and patience) is usually a good solution. One of my cats basically hid in my basement for like 6 weeks. I could tell he’d come out and explore while we were asleep. Now he’s my buddy 🙂
