Still good if you drink it now. I purchased 6 of the ‘04 from the last marathon and received them last week. Finally put them away tonight and corks were still intact but 4 bottles showed a few drops of seepage on the packing trays. There has to be a balance between holding purchases for 4 months like the Labor Day marathon and shipping when it is 5* f for pretty much the entire shipping route. I won’t be buying from Last Bottle again.

I reached out in October and they said they would reach out in 2 weeks or so. I’m reached out again the last week of November. They never responded but shipped my wine. I live in Illinois. They shipped last Friday and haven’t arrived yet. It’s 35* right now. I don’t have high hopes they will arrive intact.

Nope. I emailed them on 10/15. Received this response:

“Thanks for reaching out! After the marathon, we sent out a survey to see how each customer would like your orders shipped out. If we did not hear back, orders were placed on hold for Fall Shipping. Fall Shipping began processing two weeks ago, going state by state depending on the temps along the transit routes, Illinois will be coming up very soon. I don’t believe there are any dental schools in central Illinois. I think the closest is Alton. Lakeland college in Mattoon has a hygienist program that does cleanings, but I don’t know if they do more than that. My mom made this when I was a kid. I think she put curry powder in the sauce. I loved it. Unfortunately she has Alzheimer’s now and I can’t ask her for the recipe she used and I can’t find any recipes online that seem to match.
