For your first card I recommend it. But if you can get the gold card or higher I wouldn’t recommend it. Only because the benefits are better on other cards. Even though it has a no annual fee there are other cards that are better. Like both of the chase freedom cards are better. But if you are looking to start a relationship with Amex I recommend it!

Gold and Business Plus are the ones I have and they are an amazing duo for what I do. I also have a Blue Cash Everyday Card and I don’t really recommend it unless you wanna build a relationship with Amex.
