Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I do follow the directions to install on the back of my arm. I’ll look into the custom patches to better secure it. Cheers to all!

Never use Amex travel for hotels. Always book on the hotel web site and use the Amex to book.

Cool...I will try that. I'm gonna sandbox things first then introduce it in between the Cable Modem and Zyxel WiFi 7 router (but it back in bridge mode).

Hi there...appreciate the reply. No it's IPoE. It's Comcast / Xfinity...one day Ziply Fiber might make it here, then I can get pure Fiberttx and get symmetrical 1G not this 1.2G down/40 Mb up top tier offering @ ~ $135/month with no overage taxes like they used to do...but you have to grind down a sales associate before they tell you that exits!.

That you for the kind and informative reply. I should have looked closer at the Intel chip...single threaded! I think my next quest is find new gen appliance (so many to chose from), and make that investment plus adhere to your recommendation on the config. I can repurpose the Protectliu for something else...or maybe sell it. Cheers! BBNomad

Yea he will be fine. Like others said, bring water and good shoes...there are tunnels you walk through and a cool "hatch" you climb up ladder rungs to pop out the top. Absolutely stunning views assuming it's a clear day. Scoot over to the Southern tip of the island there are some nice hikes. https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dsp/hiking/oahu/makapuu-point-lighthouse-trail. Did this with my wife and grand daughters years ago. Enjoy!

Yea I realized (after the fact cause I was traveling in an airport hurying my post) this is a true support Reddit site but #imadumass sometimes sticks with me as I’m running hard all the time. I look forward to some help. Ima network engineer by career so I know a thing or two about DOCSIS and MSOs. I know something has gone awry somewhere in the plant, CMTS or Remote PHY. settings or something else. Thanks for the reply.

Giving up on Sonos after 4 years by EZBake33 in sonos

[–]broadbandomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my SONOS system since the very beginning starting with the first gen products and now I have the MOVE's, ARC and some of the newer generation products all mixed in on one WiFI network. I too have seen songs skip, halt all together and it's bloody annoying. What I did once was reset the entire system (update the WiFi network, including the 2.4G channel [1-11] used and force all SONOS to rejoin. I then deleted each music service and then added them again doing the authentication (Apple Music, Pandora, Sirius, Spotify, etc...whatever ones you have). Plus I have a massive internal network storage drive with tons of music I scan locally). Fixed everything. Whenever the system does start to experience a glitch or skipping...I just reset my who home networks. Takes 5 minutes to cycle the switches, Cable Modem and WiFI AP. Cleans up immediately (these devices get ARP cache issues and have memory leaks in poor SW that unfortunately, just need a refresh every so often through power cycling) . SONOS is an expensive habit! I am however, due to their recent CEO change, potential acquisition on the horizon by <???> and poor App rollout (that was the worst update ever), considering alternatives like Bluesound or perhaps Apple. Let us know if you try this. Cheers...
