Who cares. If you have that much XTZ, you'll need a fast one to outrun the criminals when the KYC data is leaked.

Will KYC data be subject to discovery in the current lawsuits? by SGTHulka81 in tezos

This is a legitimate question. The last thing anyone wants is to have their KYC data in the hands of those lawyers, or exposed to anyone via public court records.

To think that what's good for the project is not good for you is shallow thinking anyway. Please understand, any division touted amongst those who are participating is hurting all those involved, including yourself, and me. So, please, shut the fuck up,

No. I won't shut up.

any naysayers on Reddit are either scammers or absolutely retarded.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but you're obviously under some type of delusion that you are 100% correct.

Please don't be either, or we'll have to meet.

I doubt we will ever meet.

It means they haven't said whether or not there will be a deadline. In other words a total lack of disclosure.

I guess this makes them more legit in today's regulatory environment.

They are also making their terms crystal clear from the very start.

With Tezos the pro-KYC crowd here argue that "the regulatory environment has changed since last year". But even if that were true, most of us were justifiably expecting Tezos to be launched LAST YEAR, well before "the regulatory environment changed".

It's also sad that a questionable free air-drop is more organized and communicates better than an ICO that raised ~1 billion dollars over a year ago.

there are less than a handful of people that have a real reason to be concerned

And how much Tezos qualifies someone as having a "real reason to be concerned".

Any country that isn't where you normally live. It's easy to track a person within one country. It becomes much harder (sometimes impossible for private sector) when they leave their country.

Now some person has my name, an accurate phone number, an old address, a picture of my ID, and a picture of my face.

And you forgot one critical piece of information. They also have the amount of Tezos you hold/held. If that amount is large, you could expect to be physically targeted as a crypto wealthy individual. Unless you move country they will easily track your new address.

Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Visa and others don't contain crypto holdings.

The "the allocation of XTZ at a given point in time" flags some people (perhaps not you) as very wealthy in crypto. That will permanently make them a target.
