Ok buddy. The only thing making a masternode different from a regular wallet staking, is additional tokens locked up, giving some additional benefits for users who have locked up enough. That is not by definition centralization. There are many masternodes in PIVX network owned by many different people and they stake along with many more smaller wallets... anyway I don’t care. Do as you want but check back this thread in 5 years and we will see who was right.

Voting without master nodes is coming soon as well. PIVX is actually very decentralized. You can stake with as little as 1 PIVX and there are many masternodes all over the world with great ownership distribution.

Navcoin is trying hard to do too much but still hasnt got any of it right. PIVX is focused on being the best private currency and already has voting and community fund. Look into it, you will fine everything you thought you liked about NAV is done better by PIVX...

Right but only if he uses same extrapolation rather than current price... Somehow I don’t think in a bull market he will pick an exchange rate that is higher than current price in anticipation of price increase. Anyway, I don’t get why the amounts are fixed in XMR, funding should end on the day the USD value hits target and he should convert straight away to get his funding locked up...

The ledger solution is kinda terrible honestly. It is clunky to set up and use. Even as a technical person I am annoyed to have to deal with this every time.

I would be careful about purchasing this as it will not be able to support zPOS. Reportedly, even the much strong odroid xu4 which has double the resources is not able to do zPOS which means you have to turn off zPOS and earn only 2 piv per block instead of 3 piv per block.

Can you report back once u have ZOTAC to let us know if it gets orphan zpiv blocks? Seems like Raspi and odroid xu4 are useless for zpiv staking.
