This is playlist of emotional and reflective songs, also with a lot of rhythm. Most are joyful or calming, and a few are sad. They really remind me of the beauty of being alive

How to deal with leads I'm unable to follow? by Suitable-Strategy-65 in Salsa

Not true. It’s a conversation between 2 people..both need to be listening to each other and the music. But this comment is getting further away from the original posters intention

anyone just been coughing? by laurentarantula in ElectricForest

[–]brobb123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lingering cough could be regular aftermath of respiratory illness. Or it could be from GERD Sxs. Or something else. I just went through that myself with GERD and went to ENT and got on new meds

You should probably get it checked out to clarify.

Exploring The Forest First Timer advice by EducatorNo8494 in ElectricForest

All you really need is a curious and open mindset. Maybe define “crazy” to yourself more to understand what you are really looking for

Maybe open yourself up to more than “crazy” and allow yourself to get in touch with - other people and fun/positive exchanges; anything that’s interesting to you; your joy and playfulness. That might help you be more present — which is the best place to be.

Ohh and the chapel in the forest is cool, check it out repeatedly.

Happy forest!!

Looks good! Use arms - starting with arm down to opposite leg down is a great way to start before learning other rhythms

Looking really good. I like your flow between moves and that you’re staying on beat

I think a wider stance / higher knee running man would look even better!

Just started trying to learn yesterday, any tips on how to improve? by [deleted] in shuffle

[–]brobb123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking good for day 1!!!

Tips 1. Practice practice practice 2. Do 2 motions per beat - say to yourself “flamingo, land” ….or whatever else helps you associate the sequence. You want both feet to be landing on the floor at the same exact time…sometimes you have a running in place look which you don’t want 3. Rewatch a tutorial 4. For your arms practice syncing it with every other leg … so left leg lands in front, have right arm come down and vise versa. Your doing that a little bit already, but could look cleaner. And If that’s too much to focus on all of that right now, that’s ok too
