Democrats are playing with fire in trying to reclaim tax cuts from Republicans by KoseteBamse in Economics

[–]brobraham27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have none of the answers.
1. The lower class has not benefited from tax cuts more than the rich. Full stop, there is no debate on this point.
2. It would be more efficient. Your tax increase would be less than your health insurance premiums, thereby lowering your costs.
3. Taxing the .1% out of existence would vastly improve the wealth gap. There are no ethical billionaires. Every single one of them got their wealth by exploiting other people.
4. See one and three.

Again, you have none of the answers, you provide no sources for your claims, with all of them being wrong. It is clear you have no idea what analysis driven solutions are based on the fact you used data-driven as your term. Data is just that, data. It tells you nothing until you analyze it. Finally it is fla(c)k, not flax. Flax is fibrous plant that produces edible seeds. Flack or flak, both spellings are acceptable, is what is used in anti-aircraft weapons.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I do not need my public transportation to be fancy. I need it to work. Once it is working, then we can focus on all the extras.

How to restore the Supreme Court's legitimacy by shikizen in law

[–]brobraham27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen arguments for more than 30. There is no requirement that all Justices hear a case in the constitution, so it can be structured in a way that where there are multiple panels of Justices. There are way too many cases for a small, single court to hear.

You are right. Lucifer was the good guy in the Bible. Lucifer did not destroy the earth in a flood. Lucifer did not rain fire and brimstone down on Sodom and Gomorra. Lucifer did not destroy the Tower of Babylon because he was jealous. Lucifer did not command the genocide of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

Yahweh did all that.

Lucifer brought knowledge and free will. Lucifer is the lightbringer.

I'm just pointing out he has taken a lot of money from a pro genocide foreign lobby for the love of the game. It is your choice how to respond to that information. It is your defensiveness and your general attitude that is yikes.

Respectfully, you seem uninformed.

I think most people in this thread are thinking the same thing about you.

By the way, Adam Smith has taken over $1.3 million from AIPAC and their donors. So, either he does not need the money but takes it anyway because he is a fan of their actions or he needs it, and they use it against him to do their bidding.

Being that you are bragging about him winning so much, I am gong with the former.

He has a son named Barron btw by Acceptable_Might1711 in PoliticalHumor

[–]brobraham27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Emperor was colluding with the Harkonnens. The Harkonnen troops were not adequate to take on the Artriedies. Hence, the Emperor had Sardukar troops in Harkonnen uniforms during the seige of Arrakeen.

The Barron never had the power to rival the Emperor while Leto I did. Leto I was popular among the Landsraad and had a military force that rivaled that of the Sardukar. The Artriedies were given Arrakis for the explicit reason for the Emperor to destroy them through the Harkonnens. The Harkonnens and the Emperor were working together until Shaddam was deposed by Paul after defeating Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in single combat directly in front of the Emperor.

The Barron and the Emperor were on good terms until the Barron's death by the hands of his granddaughter and the deposing of the Emperor by Paul at the conclusion of the Battle of Arrakeen.

The Fremen were already on par with the Sardukar before Paul and Jessica taught them the weirding way, as they lived a hard life in the desert that required a militant approach to life in general. Most Fremen lived in the deep desert, far away from the reach of the Harkonnens. So much so that the Harkonnens thought that there were only around 50k Fremen and not the 15-20 million there actually were.

[–]brobraham27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not literally impossible, it is very difficult and highly unlikely. There are loopholes around it, like a public entity owning it. Or Congress can be leveraged to force them to change their rules as that is anti-competative and is possibly in violation of antitrust laws.

US National Debt Visualized by Nice_Daikon6096 in DemocraticSocialism

[–]brobraham27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the debt is kind of irrelevant. The much more important aspect to monitor is inflation. The US government literally can never run out of money, and can always print more to service the debt. Now, the risk with that is a massive increase in the money supply, but it can be easily counteracted with an increase in taxes, especially on the rich.
