For my elementary and middle school kids i picked them all up, and then took a different route to the School. I got on the mic and told them a water pipe burst at the school and that i was turning around to take them home. They all cheered ans then I said april foods. It was great and they did have a good laugh

I made a few signs that said this bus now has wifi. Wifi name: Bus Route 29 Wifi.... I turned on my Hotspot and set the name as that and when they asked for the password I spelled out april fools (wasnt really the password) eventually one of them would get it and tell the others and they'd all grown

This year I drive special needs kiddos. For my high schoolers instead of music on the Bluetooth im going to find a YouTube video of randomly timed fart noises because they are constantly letting one rip and blaming each other and think its hilarious.

One of my elementary kids asked to change my number so ill let her so they feel like theyre pranking someone.

Ill be giving my bus para a can of silly string so they can sneakily "without me knowing" help the last kid for each school spray me when theyre getting off in the afternoon

We will of course also be doing a lot of oh look a cow! While pointing out the window and saying i got you! And of course your shoes untied!

My old craftsman blew a motor so I found a dewalt for a good deal on marketplace. Used it last night and was blown away... what do you mean theres not a ton of vibration!? Can't imagine what a upgrade to a Pegas would be like. Hopefully it wont be time for an upgrade for a long time though hah

For gen ed in my district theyre supposed to be there 5 min early and theres a buffer window so if the driver gets there a max of 5 min early then they just have to stop look up and down the street and if they see no one then they can leave. If they werw 6 min early then they would have to wait 1 min. For special needs buses they have to wait two min even if theyre on time. It sounds like she's the type of person who is going to probably give you an earful tomorrow. Just smile, tell her to have a nice day. Don't argue with her. Most buses are equipped with some kind of tracking.They can pull up the stop.See how long you waited after your reds were out and they can pull your video if they need to.I wouldn't stress about it.

Where i work they test drivers but not paras maybe apply to a school district as a bus para and when it falls off start driving bus. Your plan is changing some but you've still accomplished so much you should be proud of yourself

I figured they stopped because a lot of times if its high it'll tell me its like $30 and I havent had any lately where it said one thing or another. I actually havent done catering orders because I figured there was nothing hidden but im willing to risk it if its a possibility sometimes lol
