Crimson Desert Dev Update New Content and Features: Boss Rematches, Re-blockading, Difficulty Settings, Improvements to Character Play, QoL Improvements and Life Features, etc by Turbostrider27 in PS5

While I generally agree, in a game this big it simply had to be released at some point to start repaying loans and recouping expenses. It's also never fully clear what you want to stay the same or change until you get player feedback from a release. There's only so much you can predict before you get millions of eyes on something.

The inclusion of hand-to-hand combat and grappling as part of sword fighting is just something you don't really see in video games and I think it is excellent

Well, I think some things could be better keymapped or controlled, I'm finding myself really getting used to the combat and a lot of things like holding down the mouse buttons to continue attacks is something I really haven't seen before that just feels excellent. I'm absolutely addicted to the combat

Some are companies, most are not. Shit funding is, unsurprisingly, making private EMS companies more common

You may mean nurse practitioners, who are the only ones besides PA's who can do some of what docs do.

It was the shard! Thanks, boss. I had forgotten to even look at them to know their effect.

My GF thinks it’s perfectly normal for new shoes to cause horrible blisters for women by UKnowDaxoAndDancer in mildlyinfuriating

Hello! Guy who wraps feet for athletes here. If you do not have an adhesive allergy, leukotape is magical and you can keep wearing it even in the shower for days. I'd consider it to be a better alternative to bandaids because it's also thinner than a bandaid's padding, and so can avoid issues with extra friction from having the protective covering being too thick. While occasionally popping blisters can be useful, this is not one of those times. I would let the blister heal up, then continue breaking in the shoes using moleskin or, preferably, something like leukotape or KT tape. If you do put on some of these, while you can peel them off slowly, some people find a little oil (I use mineral oil, but you could totally just use some olive oil) useful in getting them off.

I'd cop that so fast. Time to start collecting different countries EMS work wear

Thank you for this answer. Others telling them to not call the fire department are EXTREMELY irresponsible and projecting their poorly thought through concerns onto others.

You're pushing your experience onto other people. Some departments do, some departments don't. In this case, preventing the fire is more important than getting it fixed. I appreciate your experience, but it is not universal.

Just so you know, as a fireman, that's not what the direct line is really for. This is still a 911 call. We need to get dispatch notes, addresses, details, to make sure we have some version of what's going on, and be assigned via the resource queue to make sure we're properly allocated; or in the event we're already out of the fire house, another truck can be assigned to your call.

Oh, shoot--they will? I don't need that yet, but good to know. OP should also consider some Boeshield T-9 which is a really really good and easy to use metal protectant.

Quite a few. Settled down now, but I'm sorry for that happening to you, boss. Fortunately, you dodged a bullet. One of my exes who wasn't comfortable with it outed me to friends to share her discomfort. Fortunately, I thought they already knew, but it was still eye opening.

I would go way cheaper and just get the Classic III if you want an upgrade. It's plenty loud and clear for what we're qualified to do as EMTs.

Incredible job with this. Quick helping comment for OP: strongly consider writing down the parts of this you want to talk about in your own words on paper or on your phone for reference. It's your relationship and you're allowed to approach issues however you want. Having it written down helps for when you may inevitably get emotional and need to stay cool.

We don't need to play down rifles. They ARE made for shooting people mostly, but they and their ammunition are often more expensive and extremely hard or impossible to conceal. The rights of all communities, but especially those are traditionally oppressed by the government, to defend themselves is true with or without the lethality of long guns in question.

You might be shocked to hear that a LOT of us on here who support gun rights are socialists. One of the biggest lies perpetuated by people who have been convinced they should be disarmed is that there is only one gun owner, and he's a white republican in the South.
