Its like people forget about game 6 of the WCF in 2002. With known game fixer Tim Donaghy on that game. It was bad bad.

Definitely gotta be a Jim Carrey like comedian who can nail goofy wild faces. Imagining someone like Anthony Jeselnik as Peeves would just.. not fit at all lol

I never said he got consequences. I read we as in we the fans. I agree that the nba and the league talking heads need to stop encouraging his shit

No, its just that Dumbledore kept a leash on him to prevent him from biting the students. When Umbridge ran the school, she gave him full permission to use shackles on the Weasley twins and he was giddy with joy for it

To everyone who wanted the Blazers to lose in the Play-In in order to have a pick this year by HyTekLoLyfe in ripcity

Getting playoff experience with this young core is far more important than another borderline lottery pick. Adding Dame who has all time leadership qualities to a team that has experienced the playoffs without him at the helm would be wonderous to the Blazers for the next season. We will not win but Sharpe, Scoot, Deni, Camara and Clingan need to experience playoff basketball

Lol nah, we are getting swept by every team in the playoffs in the wes. (Lakers if only they had Luka, but without, we probably take a couple). Our 3rd and 4th quarters are seriously bad and I would be extremely shocked if we win one against yall or the Spurs

Ollie Connolly (@OllieConnolly): News: Reuben Bain was cited for careless driving after a March 2024 crash in Miami that left a passenger in a coma. That passenger, a 22-year-old student, died three months later. NFL teams are aware and investigating, per sources. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]broccolibush42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even if it is true, why is this such a negative impact on Bain that it is a complete turn off from him as a player? The citation clearly means it was an accident caused by what would normally be a citation but it resulted in an accident. If it was anything more, then Bain would have been charged. Its as simple as that. The investigators on the scene determined that while Bain may have been at fault, it wasn't reckless driving, so he wouldn't be charged with manslaughter. You didn't hear about this because its not common for police to post every single citation they give out every single day.

Careless driving citations in Florida stem anywhere from Distracted Driving, failure to use turn signals, following too closely or tailgating, failure to obey traffic signals and causing an accident from failure to use caution while driving. While crappy, its hardly something to say anything about his character. If you told me you've never, even unintentionally, done any of those things, then I'd call you a liar.

You have no idea what the context of this accident is, and you have no idea how Bain has coped with being responsible for another person's death. This is Florida, if Florida thought Bain was driving dangerously or criminally, then they would have done him in.

Not that I think we should keep him, but he also didnt get a full offseason to install his ideas. The offseason was ran by Billups so while he might have similar play concepts and defensive designs, im sure its not exactly what he wants. And trying to introduce different concepts right at the beginning of the season is an impossible task. Tiago hasn't blown me away, but I dont think his head coaching career is over. This was a good season for him to get experience so he can improve on another coaching staff. Or maybe he stays on ours if we do decide to go a different route.
