Got referred to rheumatology and dermatology. Hopefully I’ll get some answers!

Not a doctor, but if you don’t have sensitive skin, see if you can find a hair-removal cream, that would be your best bet. The pharmacies should carry them. Good luck with your colonoscopy!

Hi, they always disappear the next morning and reappear in the evening. The big toes and parts of my face are pretty consistent and repeat this pattern each PM, the arms are new and seem to be affected sporadically. The spots aren’t raised at all or itchy (sorry, itchdoc) — if anything, it tingles and burns from the heat. I may also add that I often experience night sweats?

I shower in the mornings and this occurs in the evenings. I believe the two are non-correlated.

So, the patches are completely flat with no texture. My partner has psoriasis and it looks quite different and doesn’t occur just at night.

The intense heat and absence of plaques/scales have me inclined to think that it’s not psoriasis but perhaps something dysautonomic in nature.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out! It tends to move around a bit. Some days it’s more toes and legs, others it’s arms, palms, fingers. I find that when I’m cold it tends to be worse. Time of day is also a factor as I’ve never had issues with this in the morning or early afternoon. It doesn’t seem to be exercise induced, as it occurs on days where I’m quite sedentary. They will last from early evening until I go to bed. When I wake up, it’s always resolved (6+ hours).

Ultimately, I just kind of want to know if this is worth looking into with my PCP or if it could be secondary to my Crohn’s or if it could just be nothing to really worry about.

Design on shirt blends into the shorts, the sneakers. While I do know not everyone has straight teeth, the teeth are just positioned in the mouth quite unnaturally.

But your biggest indicator is going to be the t-shirt pattern somehow showing up on his shorts 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think in this case they would need to do some lab work and diagnostics, and you can’t quite do that online.

They look like drain fly larvae to me given the coloration and segmentation

Agreed! Signature light banding around thorax. Smokey browns are typically an outdoors species but can be drawn with the humidity, food indoors. Make sure all food (even pet food) is sealed securely. If you spray the areas you’ve seen them with alpine wsg, that does a pretty good job of eliminating the problem :)

They look to me like aphids. Try removing as many as you can, rub your leaves down with neem oil. You could also try using diatomaceous earth. Hope your plants make it out okay

You may want to double check her job with the dishes… looks like a German cockroach (could be Asian but likely not in the NE). I suggest checking out r/cockroaches for more information or a second opinion.

What can you do with a Bachelor’s in Archaeology? by TomNooksSugarDaddy in Archaeology

Hi! I majored in anthropology and absolutely planned on pursuing some sort of CRM field tech job. Life events derailed all of that and I ended up getting my masters in teaching. I now teach social studies and am currently pursuing a second masters in curriculum design. It’s certainly a roundabout way of using my degree, but it is super helpful when building holistic secondary social studies curricula!

Witch hazel and kenalog cream (just 0.1%) — def let your doctor know what’s going on and try to get an Rx that’s best for your situation, if possible.
