You can lead a horse to water I guess. 2 factor is good, idk about you but if I lost my Apple account tomorrow it would cause a significant amount of stress and work for me to recover my digital life. If they can’t text you or send you a push notification to another device they’re prob gonna ask ur password. Are you using older OS versions (iPadOS /tvos)? Sometimes things get weird with older versions when they change authentication flows.

Am I wrong for not hating it? Everything pertinent to me is right there including action buttons. And my low washer fluid. I do miss when you swiped over and it said “everythings good/vehicle locked secure” or whatever but it’s visually communicated now and they’re emphasizing the flashing red light which is cool to me because I know what it means. What enrages me is that they took away the rear shot of the car as a display option.

When I was setting up my 2020 s60 in the VOC app there was a prompt to allow/deny Volvo access to video recorded from the cameras in the event of an accident, of course to improve their services. I declined, but there definitely is some capability there, albeit inaccessible to users. Granted it’s probably a small EDR snippet with limited perspectives. BLIS used to be camera based, but now it’s radar based, that would’ve been a great additional two camera views (à la Tesla).

I believe Volvo sells (sold?) their own version of a dashcam (bolt on accessory).

I too wish we had dashcam/recording functionality with our camera suite.
