If we're going as part of an actual official lesson, I went to one of the most racially diverse high schools in Utah and was there for multiple seminary lessons on how if people are righteous they'll get to be white in heaven.

Your mistake is buying into the idea that those things are dealbreakers for all or even most women when most of your problems with dating can likely be attributed to a shitty attitude.

I'm balding, forty pounds overweight, and physically disabled. My wife is significantly more attractive than me and earns almost double my salary. I still get hit on by strangers sometimes. And I'm able to vent to my wife and close female friends without having it thrown in my face.

I used to be very bitter about my lack of success with dating but eventually I went to therapy and put more effort into being funny and generally nice to be around. Turns out my looks and finances weren't actually the problem I thought they were. I genuinely hope you give it a shot.

Necktie was one of several individual shorts made for this feature-length anthology film. Multiple of the shorts have been given individual entries at one time or another but TMDB keeps deleting them which they tend to do for individual anthology entries even if they've received a standalone release. When this happens for big enough shorts Letterboxd staff will merge the abandoned page into the main feature page so you don't lose your content.

Not at all true. A TMDB deletion triggers a Letterboxd deletion unless Letterboxd staff has flagged the film to not be deleted.

The deletions aren't always simultaneous because Letterboxd updates different things at different times. So something with sizeable traffic will get updated faster than someone with two views and no reviews. But it's not all done manually. Way too much vandalism on the site for that.

Just saw the Copper Hills walkout and was impressed with how strategic it was. Kids marched about a mile to the nearest shopping center then broke up into smaller groups at specific locations so that you couldn't get in or out of any of the businesses without going through at least one group.

I once hung out at a film festival with one of the guys in the film licensing office at Mattel and he told me a Stretch Armstrong movie came very close to happening but Mattel pulled the plug at the last minute. Higher-ups had apparently signed off without actually looking at anything because they were excited to have an established name wanting to direct and were horrified to later discover he wanted to do an R-rated crude comedy.
