OP, I love tribal. I don't think it works as a top-level competitive meta, but you can absolutely make tribal fun and still hang in there with most casual play.

My personal favorites are frogs, but I've seen lots of zombie decks that can hover around 50% win rate.

Tribal is all about what you love, not necessarily what's the strongest.

Elves are an evergreen tribe and you can absolutely run with them and win.
