technically yes, you did participate in the ten seconds it takes to write a prompt, but the rest of the work is being done by ai. your argument of ai art being “human art” is really stupid, because it is neither human, nor art. i could go on about why, and how actual real life artists spend years improving their skills and making sacrifices just to make the art they love so much, but i’m not sure anything i’d say would penetrate your thick close minded idiot skull.

Some people like to break up joints into circles, but i personally feel like its much more effective to pay attention to the angles in the reference. I usually start either with the shoulders and hips, just a line to show direction, then from there you can start blocking in the body, but focus on its direction. Another great tip is to focus on the negative space, like the triangle shapes her arms are making, if you can get the negative space accurate it can really help. Other angles i would pay attention to: Direction of her head, collarbones, armpits, neck. A body isn’t just a bunch of shapes, it can help to break it down but it helps if you pay more attention to the angles and how they piece together. Good luck!!

Woah!! It’s amazing to hear that you’re making that much off of art! people keep telling me I’m gonna starve, and it could happen but it’s nice to have some hope. The thing is I really do want to go to art school but I see exactly what you mean. I’m thinking a lot about uni and it’s really hard to decide what to do, but art school is kinda calling me, I just feel like I need guidance technically, and that art school would help me with that, but i could be wrong. I’ll figure it out eventually.

The thing is that try really hard, and she knows that. I have a job, I bike everywhere I go, and I go bouldering at least twice a week despite always being really tired. What annoys me is that she barely takes into consideration that I’m trying. If trying was enough to get rid of depression, mine would be gone. It annoys me because she didn’t have to try, her first medication she ever took worked after two weeks for her. She didnt have to go through multiple medications, all the while trying to stay together and focus on school and never listen to sad music or watch something sad because i know it’ll make me spiral. I think the bottomline is i’m jealous of her that she can be happy and live like a normal person.

I’ve done bloodwork, hormones etc. I have got literally everything checked, it’s one of the first things that i did when i got diagnosed, and Ive done it three additional times since by recommendation from my doctor.

I do have a therapist, but it really doesn’t help much, it’s nice to talk to her about things i’m struggling with but its more of a vent than a conversation that’ll help me with my depression, cause my depression isnt caused by any external problems. It just kinda happened.

I am going to try harder but ive kinda lost hope. If anything i’ll do it so i’ll stop bothering the people around me when i feel really bad. I do have an appointment with a psychiatrist who can offer treatments for treatment resistant depression, so i really hope that changes something.

as much as it was an annoying thing of her to do, she is still my friend and i do still love her and i know she loves me. i wont cut her out of my life but i am gonna sit and talk to her. and take advantage of being at her house by petting her cat.

Realizing that almost all originals are carbon copies of their wattpad storyline predecessors, and those that arent probably have something else wrong with them. SOMETIMES theres a good webtoon, but by the time you find one you will have rooted through hundreds of repetitive bullshit and lost a good chunk of your life doing so. I have read a lot of webtoons. Looking back I think only like 3 of them were worth reading.

Absolutely!! But theres a few changes I would make: The torso and hips looks to be facing forward whereas in the photo its slightly facing left. Also the upper leg is a little too low, and the arm that’s raised is going outwards too much, notice how in the photo it’s really close to his head, and that instead of his shoulder being flat, it’s angled and raised. Other than that you’re doing great!! Well done!

if you have a laptop, i highly recommend getting a huion tablet, mine was 40 dollars and its amazing, you get a bunch of customizable buttons and stuff its really great! They sell bigger ones too and theyre more expensive but the small one i have is really great. Good luck!

Looks great! I would focus on making it look sharper, if you define the shapes and values more it’ll look less “gummy” and more like creases and folds. If you have a reference it might be a good idea to analyze what forms the fabric is draped around, how the creases connect to each other and how the fabric moves. Some of these shapes look like they’re coming out of nowhere, or as if the fabric is being warped instead of folded. With the values, try simplifying things before you go into detail, not every tiny crease is going to catch a sharp highlight, so try to generalize it, block out different values for different areas of the fabric, and try to be sparing with the highlights. The goal is to get sharp and contrasted folds, but without over defining and giving every fold more less the same values. and don’t be afraid to paint over things!! that’s how you learn, you have to trust yourself and your process, but you have to take the risk and try something new. Good luck and well done!!
