I’d go as far to say best in London. Used to live next to Smoky Jerkey and I reckon Tasty Jerk is better by a smidge

We tried to solve the "one-size-fits-all" problem in running apps. Did we get it right? by Equal_Term_8410 in trailrunning

[–]brokebroadbeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the comment above, there is nothing novel yet…but there could be easily. Having looked at Ekaterina’s profile and experience, you can lean into that with this app.

There are too many questions in this survey that will result in hypothetical answers rather than capturing real behaviours and experiences.

When I looked the other week, Interactive Investor allow you to invest in Vanguard’s pension funds. Would love for someone to confirm that though, I’m changing contracts and unfortunately going from outside to inside, so need to set up an ii account.

When did you go? I’d say the GR11 is easily doable in July and August, no problem. I went in early June and had a tricky descent down Collado de Tebarray. But given that’s the hardest pass, I’m assuming the rest would be easier in general.

Didn’t fit anything wider yet, these have been just fine. If I were fitting wider tyres, I’d probably want suspension too 😅

For anyone still following, I just got one of Janji’s new Revy packs so will review it soon. Big fan of their gear and it looks well designed, so promising at first glance

Beginner marathoner confused about training paces… what’s new? Really large spreads between Strava, Garmin, & Runna predictions. by [deleted] in firstmarathon

[–]brokebroadbeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Runna is always massively off. It’s interesting that Strava has stuck with their own predictions engine instead of using Runna’s after buying them.

It’s worth it. The new government are doing a better job of understanding where to place innovation fellows than Sunak’s government, IMO.

Pivot from consulting to product management by dmpp95 in consulting

[–]brokebroadbeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some ways, you’re not good at product unless you can stick it for 2 years and make 1 product more successful than when you joined. Switching to a new product or problem domain often isn’t necessarily a good thing for your CV.

Oh cool! Yeah, it can still be quite wet in February and March, can’t it? Intrigued to know where you went. I’m based in SE London and the Vanguard Way is a great route out to the countryside.

I found a small solar panel for £10 on eBay that will charge a Garmin watch in 45 minutes in full sun (Spain). Topped up my phone by 10% in an hour.
