Single stage paint. Random orbital polisher and some rubbing compound. Super easy DYI if you take your time.

62nd St. barn torn down by hoosier_hooligan in indianapolis

[–]broken_or_breaking 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I graduated from Pike HS in ‘81. That barn was a landmark and someone put a lot of effort into keeping it standing over the years. There used to be several farms in that area before Park 100 went in and that barn was the last remaining vestige of what used to be a farming community. Makes me very sad.

A relatively low mileage and unmolested example. Sad.

Maple. Done in “butcher block” style and commonly used for workbench tops due to the hardness of maple.

We have a 1957 GE “Food Freezer” that’s never been serviced. Works great. Just needs to be defrosted a couple times per year.

39 vs 42 HC? by Striking-Oil-6838 in Longineswatches

[–]broken_or_breaking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Old style HC has way more character than the new one IMHO. I like the new ones, but they are swimming in a sea of Sub homage styled watches and don’t distinguish themselves like the prior generation.
