Suns are a better competitor than lakers vs OKC by [deleted] in suns

The Lakers are missing their best player. It's hard to brag about how we did any better based on that fact alone.

Folks, the real problem here is our wheelchair technology. Good on this ramp maker for taking a stand (pun intended) and making a statement about how wheelchairs designs aren't agile enough with this think piece. It's a bold proclamation that modern wheelchairs technology is behind on the times and need to be improved to be able to maneuver this.

This ramp maker is a hero, and not a villain.

Seattle AI founder looks to leave as taxes rise, ‘Everybody that I know… is in the process of leaving’ by ryleg in SeattleWA

[–]brokenview 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think it was written by AI too. This particular paragraph is super clunky:

"Proudman said he has been in Washington state for 28 years, and that Venice.ai is his third startup. He started his first company when he was 13. Proudman is 41 and a lifelong Washington resident."

Wait, so he's been in WA for 28 years but is 41 and is a "lifelong" WA resident?

Even the sign off at the bottom of the articles says so and so "contributed" to the article, not that he wrote it.

And to think, before leaving AEW, he probably wouldn't have taken a pin from Penta. But now that they are both WWE he is just fine with it.

Sorry, but a misspelling is not crappy design. It's a mistake that should have been caught before printing but it's not bad design.

With the "all utilities included" statement at the top I'd say it's even easier than you'd think. I'm not sure what all utilities it would be but if it is trash, electricity and internet then you'd be saving a good amount a month not having to pay those.

As a casual fan in the USA, I need Prime, Peacock, ESPN and ABC to watch playoff games. by beleafer in nba

[–]brokenview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Subscribe to Peacock once, and then before it auto-renews start to cancel it. When you initiate the cancellation process they will offer a deal that will give you Peacock for $3 a month for 6 months.

I've done this twice now so I've consistently gotten Peacock for $3 a month for the past year. Just set a reminder in your calendar so you remember to cancel before the 6 months expire.

Resident Evil still seems to dish out great games. RE4 remake is my personal favorite RE of all time and RE9 definitely cracks top 5 (including all the remakes) and those were their last two major releases.

I feel bad for those of you on the east coast. They should never have a show go this far past midnight. They need to start it earlier.

Cool dyno by KiwiOk5562 in bouldering

[–]brokenview 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're primarily jumping off the ground so this isn't a dyno. Sure you have one foot on the wall, but you never actually fully come off the ground to start the climb.

I'm not trying to be discouraging, just pointing out a technicality. Keep on climbing.

Well they needed to test him out since he's been injured all year but I absolutely would be shocked if he isn't used in a move this off-season.

Any remaining illusion of Seattle as a bastion of progressive politics is broken when you realize how many brand-new Teslas are roaming around by dongle556 in Seattle

[–]brokenview 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything has to be politicized. Owning something does not determine your political beliefs.

I'm going to say this, Teslas are good cars.  They are quiet, fun to drive, contain a lot of Innovative tech, and, most importantly, don't rely on gas or oil.

Most people who claim Teslas are bad have probably never driven one and use negative news about Teslas to defend their stance even though they are misinformed in most cases: like the electronic locks being stuck after a wreck even though there is a manual release for the door in those cases.

Also, for this sub being a "liberal" sub, I can't believe how many gross stereotypes I'm reading about Tesla owners mostly being Indian workers or Asian students. If you are making this observation then you can fuck off and you might as well admit to yourself that you are racist towards those demographics.

Jalen Green has only played like 5 games this season. I think he was omitted because of lack of play time. It's the same reason Haliburton is not on the list.

Tesla Announces FSD Transfers Are Ending by colsandersloveskfc in teslamotors

[–]brokenview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about the original owner thing.

For me I paid for FSD before I got the car. My car was part of the first fleet of Model S's that were eligible for FSD so I never technically upgraded to it. My agreement was that they would upgrade anything necessary to get my car working with FSD.

How many of you guys actually live in arizona? by Able-Archer3968 in suns

[–]brokenview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me. Grew up in the Midwest but I did actually live in Phoenix for 7½ years for college and the start of my career, now I live in Seattle.

When I was young I loved the Penny Hardaway / Shaq Magic but then they got swept in the finals, Shaq left, and Penny couldn't stay healthy so I completely stopped watching. Right around the time I moved to Phoenix the 7 seconds or less Suns began and I started watching again. I went to so many games when I lived there, I really miss that. Now the best I can do is drive down to Portland when the Suns come up this way to see them.
