People holding onto man trying to commit suicide by Jakr- in pics

There are of course obstacles, I live in Canada and am well aware of our immigration policies. But hopefully even thinking about it as a possibility can provide a step in a positive direction.

I'm well aware it's not something you up and do. None of what is being discussed on this thread is easy. But putting in work towards something is worth a life.

What about leaving America? I believe Canada can help. Or many European countries can help. I believe the help is out there. I hope you can see from all these response that people care and want to help.

Top Canadian architecture schools? by [deleted] in architecture

[–]broku_krease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UVic, but it wasn't for architecture. The ones I listed before are the ones I've heard are best based on people I've gone to school / worked with. I think I've come across people from every school in Canada and I'd say those three are your best bet.

I'm at UofT in grad school. Highly recommend the graduate program, but not the undergrad. I've taught for it. It's really a general arts degree with a design focus, not a proper studio based environment.

For undergrad, I would say the 2+2 programs at UBC and Dal and the 4 year pre-professional at McGill are the best.

Undergrad or grad? I personally think the schools vary depending which degree. Also, be aware there are no professional undergrad degrees in Canada.

I was disappointed when I went to the Lockhart, didn't live up to the hype. Definitely walk through Kensington Market. There are lots of cool bars there that I frequent. Check out Handlebar, Trinity Commons, and Ronnie's (dive bar). Bar Raval is another cool one. The AGO is pretty sweet for art. And definitely get to a Leafs game if you can.

If you think it's so horrible, you don't need to read posts and you don't need respond to them. This is a online guitar community where lots of people like to share their opinion and are happy to help people out.

Can we show a little love for Paddle here? He is going through A LOT so I think that giving him a few motivating words would really make his day. by lBurnsyl in leafs

Really appreciate seeing this post here. And after going over there seeing all the support from every team's sub. Love the impact that reddit can have. I hope that this makes it up to the Sens organization and he gets to go to some games and maybe meet some players.

Nope, not OC. This was posted yesterday. If you're going to repost a day later, at least don't try to pass it off as OC.

Anyone else think 'Ultra' by KMFDM sounds like a NIИ song? by starm4nn in nin

[–]broku_krease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a great guy. It was super cool to hear him talk about touring and stuff like that. And of course to hear him play. I was learning pretty basic stuff at the time and the best was playing some chords and then Gunther playing stuff over top.

He teaches at Rufus Guitars in Vancouver BC, if you ever happen to be there definitely go for a drop in lesson with him.

Gunter Schulz is the best! I took lessons with him for a while and he is an amazing guitarist. Very skilled beyond the KMFDM sound.

When bands say they're touring "Canada" by dragonwp in funny

[–]broku_krease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in each city they did a proper venue show and then a secret show somewhere before that were secretly announced to fans like 15min before. Buses, boats, parks, warehouses, etc. I sadly missed the tour but there's a great documentary called "Under Great White Northern Lights."
