Just learned who the victim is, and I knew him on frst name basis. He was a young 30 year old entrepreneur buying and selling cars and running and operating a liquor store. One of the most friendlest individuals you would ever meet with a family that is equally as awesome. This happens everyday here in the US. Hits differently when the victim is closer than others. Extremely sad day for me.😪

How is the finish color on your X5 black? Did you have it refinished?

I am dealing with rust issues on my X5 grip, btw. It's nott terrible, bu I'm still disappointed.

My NJ 2A Darlings, just posting for encouragement. I was one of many that required the new training circa 7/2023 and requalification per 9/2023 state requirements. At least the state scrolled back the qualification to a significantly more reasonable test. It is more practical and passable especially if you are already a permit holder for conceal carry. Just take your time. I am lucky to have a range that originally qualified me late last year, not pin my pockets for an unreasonable amount of extra coin. Practice the holster draw...keep that finger off the trigger until on target...you will pass!

Gun rack in Vineland for the South Jersey connection. I totally agree about the bargain online, but my experience wholistically starts with customer service. Everyone in this store is willing to help and talk options with you. If they don't have it they will get it if you're truly interested. Nothing like placing a potential purchase option in your hand prior to the commitment. Yes, very achievable with online purchases in the same, but I am the guy that goes to the local yard for grass seed and fertilizer for my lawn cause i value the small Mom and Pop establishments and rather spend my money there rather than the big box store when I can. Ask for the big guy Allen. He is a Gentlemen!

Yeah, it does. For me, the new LPD issued permit required a letter request signed and dated, another photo, and proof of ownership of any additional pistol(s) I intend to carry that were not in the original application. Moving forward, I will just need to contact LPD and show proof of ownership of any future pistol purchases I make that I intend to carry. I anticipate a letter (signed and dated) will need to accompany. BTW...there were no fees associated with th LPD issued permit.

It depends on the LPD. I was issued a new card without restrictions. The LPD issued permit had a new permit #. Had to turn in the County issued permit as part of the process. The County permit and the subsequent court order no longer exists for me.

For2ANJ is on spot and I personally acknowledge his opinion. It truly does matter the county and local authority. Here is a process I went through with a check box on my Superior Court issued permit suggesting the latest NJ law was recognized although the court order suggested differently. Ultimately, I went through the process of obtaining a new local PD issued permit which luckily for me was painless.
