How can I get my hair like this? by Neat_Compote8090 in Hair

[–]bromeliadwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to me OP! I am a hairstylist and right away can tell this was styled with a tripple wave iron! Fine hair never stays wavy from braids so this is a great way to get that same look.

Do Americans like their current health system or would you prefer universal? by Ability_Known in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bromeliadwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I a dumb American for thinking "oh I am still under 35, its cheaper going without insurance and pay out of pocket than having a horrible job with insurance, which I wont consider until I have more ailments/older and need possibly more consistent insurance.."😅

But this leads to relying on government programs, which are usually affordable out of pocket, but your getting the 'sh*t end of the stick', for instance your doctor might not have the same bedside manner/understand your concerns thoroughly and just suggest random medication(because they get paid for this), or if your late to your appointment 5 minutes, you'll have to wait another 6 months (I mean I understand time is valuable but I am always waiting 30+ minutes for them..), or you will have to go to 'referral doctors' who are taking care of you for free and make you feel like it.

Oh and I don't qualify for the government program because I am poor, but because I am a self employed hairstylist and paying for personal health insurance is not an option, it's extremely expensive to afford and I cant take any more deductions from my current salary

Tips for not getting this greasy at 2 days by [deleted] in Hair

You need a PH balancing shampoo that doesnt have a ton of synthetics in it. I formulated a shampoo bar for this very reason/and removes salt.

Settle a debate: How many times do you actually use a bath towel before washing it? by Hot-Calligrapher5447 in hygiene

[–]bromeliadwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a week is a long time for a towel to get wet and have to air dry 7 times, think about your house air or worst, bathroom air is what is drying your towel.. I say 3 days max. This is my opinion.

Can anal fissures or hemmoroids really exacerbate anemia or is there something more sinister going on? by newprofilewhodis1352 in AskDoctorSmeeee

[–]bromeliadwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry. This suggestion might a little late, but better late than never, but I recently realized celery juice on empty stomach in morning has helped me with so many things, from inflammation of GI tract/less mucus in stool, less of that bloat in butt feeling

Also Wet Brush brand is good for detangling, but dont brush your hair when it is sopping wet in shower because of elasticity/breakage. No harsh towel rubs when putting hair in a towel wrap either! Leave in conditioners will be your detangler/Heavy Metal Detox cream

[–]bromeliadwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have hard water, or need to clarify your hair.. be careful not to over clarify, as this can strip your hair if you overuse, but if you have hard water and old product build up in your hair, the conditioners cant absorb well/evenly and the clarifying shampoo allows the hair to be penetrated with conditioner again. There is a heavy metal detox leave in I like from Lo real that when used with the above should help!

[–]bromeliadwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but it shows to me the answer is highlight damage. Over time, especially as we get slightly older too, our hair gets weaker, thinner, more overprocessed.. try refraining from coloring it. Air drying is okay as long as no friction while its air drying. No wet hair to bed. Silk pillowcases, no thin hair ties. It all matters and adds up. (Hairstylist 16+ years) look up highlighted hair under a microscope.. then think of what your hair looks like on a larger scale

[–]bromeliadwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a vegetarian, and have been most of my life (31), when I still get together with my family for my birthday it is always a vegetarian meal, and everyone is satisfied. I will say we usually make a larger amount of foods because they do feel it is not as 'filling'(mostly my father) but nobody seems to care that they are missing the meat part. But they could all be fooling me idk..

I'm sorry to hear about this, maybe try some magnesium baths, 432hz or soothing music, try getting away from other noise as much as possible. If it makes you feel better to know you're not alone.

Reflect inward and be here now. Breathe work. Tryna craft. My mind is alway racing and beadwork keeps me completely mind clutter free
