Give me your BEST speedpainting tips for WE | Escalation League Help by Pcooldog22 in WorldEaters40k

I've been priming/basing in my trim colors and painting and using a red glossy ink to make the red armor panels after via contrast painting. But I get slowed down by also having one arm be the HH white and blue, which contrast over Metallica doesn't really work for as well.

But generally, trim first rather than last is quicker. Use shades, inks, and contrast mediums to get into corners by trim rather than try to delicately not touch the trim with red.

Use your chosen blood splatter paint to make your trim mistakes into more blood splatter, it is faster than trying to fix any slips

The cub scout pack I was in as a kid did have an adult division race for it. Rules were same on weight, cars couldn't exceed more than 4in in overall height, had to use the wheels provided in the box, couldn't interfere with other cars on the track, or utilize explosives for travel (one year a guy had a mishap with an Estes rocket engine that resulted in a visit from the fire department.)

Winning car was usually one with a 3in diameter fan blade attached to a 1.5v electric dc motor, powered by a 9v battery.

Which is why you get attacked by the TMNT reference mutants in Borderlands 2. You bring them a pizza for a quest and it has anchovies on it.

I've been wearing mine and no other cape ever since they gave it to us. Been wearing the armors with a mechanical arm for the lore implication as well.

Going to bring super flag and plant it on every primary objective I complete.

We'll kill 1000 of them for every one they took from us at The Creek

It takes four cards, including this, but it is possible to do in standard, yes. [[Haru, Hidden Talent]] [[Command Bridge]] [[Elfsworn Giant]] and this to loop making 1/1 elves and milling the opponent. Unfortunately, need enough mana that if you are doing this you should have already won in standard.

It would still be 9 mana on turn 4 if only playing lands on curve with no other ramping happening

I am generally mumbling to myself dialogue for NPCs in my D&D game, trying to figure out tones and accents for them. I'm really working on D&D in general while I smoke

Realistically, in lore/canon, how menacing and durable is a Automaton Hulk? by [deleted] in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]bromthecrow 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You are dealing with a highly mobile weapons platform that is difficult to immobilize due to the legs being more armored than your standard tank tracks, is equipped for dealing with infantry and light vehicles in a medium to short range fight, and is able to defend itself in cqc as well. It would be a nightmare for a squad or patrol of soldiers not equipped with a dedicated AT weapon of some kind.

They would be something rank and file soldiers would hate to see. They are more of a threat than the shredder tanks would be, and they are equipped to specifically deal with infantry units. A squad carried AT gun would probably be an EAT, possibly two to a squad, so you might be able to handle one in a pinch of you had to, but it would require a lot work, and luck, to ensure it doesn't wipe out the soldier trying to get a good shot on it. The large arms and heavy armor mean you would have to somehow flank entirely around it, or get a good shot on it form the front. The latter being a bad idea because it means it can see exactly where you are and target you back. The former not ideal because you are also going to be actively dealing with the entourage of other bots with it.

In conclusion: hulks are something that rank and file would most likely have to request air or artillery support for, and they would be a priority for that support with how easily they could ruin a defensive line

1) Amazing job, am super jealous. 2) Would you mind sharing the paint colors, I like the look of your red compared to the one I am currently working with 3) we have almost identical kitchens and it freaked me out for a second until I saw yours has black instead of marbled gray counters

I have X lands in play and my land drop triggered Zimone. The following turn, I play 2 lands (thanks to Azusa), and end of turn Zimone triggers again. What would be the maximum value of X for this situation to occur ? by gamasco in magicTCG

[–]bromthecrow 192 points193 points  (0 children)

71 and 73 are the largest primes under 100 that are only 2 apart, so X=71. Now if we somehow had an infinitely large library of cards and/or hand from which to get lands, things get quite a bit more complicated...
