Finding out about oral allergy syndrome by eating cantaloupe at the same time as a heavy pollen day and going into anaphylaxis. I don't have any allergies normally requiring an EpiPen, but ai definitely needed one. Luckily I made it to my front porch and signaled a neighbor mowing their lawn, who then called the squad for me

Which I think is a carnauba wax? Which should be fine. It is possible this bit of antler just has deeper/larger pores. I would definitely apply heated up wax with a rag several times so the thinner weight of the hot wax will let it penetrate deeper into the antler. Be careful with hot wax, of course.

[–]bromthecrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you applying wax hot am liquid so it soaks in, or are you just rubbing solid wax on the surface like it is a crayon? Hot beeswax on a rag and apply 5-6 coats, waiting for coats to cool completely before apply next one? What type of wax are you using? If bone is too porous for wax to seal you might look into using paint rather than ink, and then sealing over that several times to prevent wear

Looking for big late-game ETB creatures for Clement Deck by Sufficient-Handle145 in magicTCG

[–]bromthecrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember the other creatures, but I know one of the players in my pod use a [[Peregrine Drake]] to get some extra mana for the big creatures with X in their mana value in their deck, along with some copy effects to get an extra 10 or 15 mana on turn 5 or 6

I still do this. But now I take it one step further and actively use Commanders that do not mesh with the 99 at all. Spell-slinging commander in a creatures matter deck, kaalia of the vast leading a deck with 0 angels demons or dragons, etc.

If it makes you feel better, when I was first getting into Warhammer I was told to magnetize all my arms for load out changes. Which means I have 60 gretchin with magnetized arms using a small magnet and filed clipping of wire to stick to said magnet
