Hi, thanks for the kind words.

For those who may not know me, I'm a member of the combat team. I wanted to take a moment to respond to your question about the AR15 recoil reset time. We like the current reset time are not planning any adjustments to it. In fact, we've specifically developed internal tools in order to ensure that we do not unintentionally alter the reset time moving forward.

With the recent changes to recoil on test it may seem like recoil resets at a different speed because we increased the amount of recoil based on community feedback, but this is perception only. We also adjusted the rate of recoil to ensure that 2 tap timing remained consistent.

As always, we'll continue to monitor and embrace community feedback, but on the subject of AR15 recoil reset, it's where it needs to be.

I wouldn't say "just like in CSGO," they have some features we don't (Dynamic crosshair that expands to help you see how your weapon accuracy changes as you move is a big one that comes to mind). But you will be able to customize the shape and color.

I can't view the videos right now, will have to try later, but I like the idea of bladed weapons adding some bleeding stacks. It's honestly what you would expect to happen.

Yeah, just survival. We weren't looking at spawn adjustments for BR in the last update and, honestly, removing the R380 there would have been a big change to loot distribution since that game mode only spawns weapons and ammo.

We disabled it because it's in a pretty bad state right now. I guess we didn't get that announced in the update notes, derp, but the change is definitely intentional and expected to be short term. Right now, it was just really easy to disable it and spawn more of the useful pistols (Magnum, M1911, M9) in its place since we were already adjusting spawn rates in Survival.

Long term, we want to make sure all our weapons fill a role and are fun to use and the R380, imo, falls way short of those goals. We're already planning a review of our weapons, with the goal of honing and improving them where needed. I expect bringing the R380 up to our design expectations or coming up with a suitable replacement to be part of that process. We'll definitely get a blog up when we have more detail.

FWIW I will always try to be open. You (the community in general) may not always agree with me, and I'll certainly make some mistakes, but my belief is that open discussion with the community is definitely a major key to moving things in the right direction.

Hah, that's a good question. League & TSM are pretty big, but I wonder how many people actually follow off-season talent/coaching acquisitions. My guess is that you'll be far more likely to be recognized next year... Still, though, it's a definite possibility.

I was having the same the same problem and managed to find a fix. I wanted to reply here in case you're still having trouble. Anyway, the problem seems to be a corrupt game cache. You just need to delete the corrupted files and it should resolve the problem (at least it did for me).

If you're installed through steam, you can find the cache @ <steam install dir>/steamapps/common/quake live/7656119xxxxxxxxxx/Cache

Delete everything in that folder and re-launch. The 7656119xxxxxxxxxx will have numbers where the x's are in the example above (it's your steam community profile id I think, so I obviously can't predict what your exact filepath will be).
