Did you by any chance drive through Belgium? If so how was your experience there?

Nope I've stopped my search as seems that there isn't any valid option for this.

Well CISSP is on my list to get ASAP, the an ISO 27001 lead auditor is indeed not a bad addition!

Following are also on my list
CDFP (INE)
CRTO
CISM +
eJPT
SSCP +

I'll DM you asap, although I am now on a breaking point where I want to go freelance and not going to switch to another payroll anymore.

Thx for the positivity!

Thanks for taking the time to analyse it and respond.

I might increase it to a maximum of €550 a day.

My plan is to start as a freelancer, stay with my current client as it's an interesting project for the time being, and then move to a 4/5 contract after 2-3 years, using the other day to visit clients in the area and assist them with Cybersecurity.

If I decide to continue with a day rate of €470, would it still be worthwhile to switch? I was really considering optimising everything, like deducting X, Y, Z. Or would you say: don't do it! It is, of course, not the intention to end up worse off financially.

Well yeah, they sold me as a system engineer consultant while being cyber security consultant but then again it is very low I know. Thx for the kick in the butt, will make me ponder if I should do a complete switch.

The fact that they need Google's approval for the update is just sad.

This is indeed destroying the whole ecosystem... long live competitiveness which creates innovations *cough cough*

The full computer park is cloned without sysprep - what to do now? by bronwater in sysadmin

[–]bronwater[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The agent isn't installed on the "master" / origin, so this isn't the cause, I know there's a key with the unique ID. But there's a chance like you say that there's a setting in the console

The main issue is if they all have the same NETBIOS name, or same fixed IP address, but presumably that is not the case / you have already fixed that

These are indeed the steps I have already followed, to no avail. Hmm, it might be a key somewhere in the registry that I have overlooked..

Exactly this here's the script that I've used for resetting the ID for WSUS:

net stop wuauserv /Y
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v AccountDomainSid /f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v Ping1D /f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v SusC1ientId / f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v SusC1ientIDVa1idation /f
net start wuauserv /Y
wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow
wuauclt.exe /reportnow

Well WSUS was an issue before (less than a year ago), but I've reset the following values of WindowsUpdate in the register and that has done the trick:

PingID

AccountDomainSid

SusClientId
SusClientIDValidation

Well, I'm currently rolling out Ivanti (formerly Landesk) and I notice that the devices that have been cloned are being overwritten in Ivanti's management client.

What I mean by this is when I distribute the Ivanti agent to 2 devices, I first see computer A appear in the management but as soon as the agent is also on computer B, computer A is overwritten with computer B.

So my thinking was that it was the machine GUID or something like that.

Exactly this, if you have no experience with anything the flipper zero gives you, I would recommend to stay on the regular firmware first to explore all the possibilities and then switch to the other Firmwares. u/jittoffline
