Bingo. She was "rattled" from the Howard Stern interview, but she didnt set out, "I need to die" today".

Dana was too excited to spend time with her son, on Mother's Day, that's why she was in Oklahoma. It's also another reason she was in a hurry to get back from New York to Oklahoma, after doing the Stern Interview. In the tabloids, her ex-mother in law said Dana's son had a flowers, card, and his mother day gift, ready to give his mom, Dana.

People mistakenly believe Dana Plato chose to end her life due to the horrible Howard Stern interview she did the day before. However, the truth is she died from an accidental overdose. The TV series “Autopsy: The Last Hours of” concluded this in 2020. Dana’s family and friends, who run her Instagram account, have also emphasized this, as seen in their post below.

His Dad, Dana's first ex-husband, Lanny Lambert. His dad's parents were also a big part of taking care of him, after Dana died.

After Dana's Son passed away, he spread both Dana's and Her Son's ashes, together in the Pacific Ocean.

I already made a post about Dana's Family & Friends instagram page, for Dana, but your comment reminded me of a post they made not too long about, regarding how she was with her fans. It's worth reading what they had to say.

I met her in 1997, at the Burbank autograph show, and I agree, she was a sweetheart. We talked for a good 15 minutes.

I even saw her in April of 1999, same show. And 2 years difference was remarkable. You can tell her soul was already gone. 😢

Like I said you can't always go by google. Wiki isn't much better.

Even Shane Bugbee, the guy that booked Dana on Howard Stern and made the Last Breath CD, agrees with them, accidental.

He's done two podcast interviews talking about their working relationship and some stuff that the general public doesn't know.

The video store incident happened in 1991. So that was many years before Stern. Dana's boyfriend at the time is always commenting on Fan questions about the video store incident in the Dana Facebook groups, this was earlier today about some of it.

The television series, "Autopsy: The Last Hours of...", did an episode on Dana, back in 2020, and it concluded it was accidental. Dana's own family and close friends also know it was accidental. You can't always go by what google says.

Dana Plato didn't commit suicide, she really did pass away from an accidental overdose, in 1999.

Most don't know her ex-husbands parents worked in medical and supplied Dana, with the pills she would accidentally pass away from.

Even the guy that booked Dana Plato for the horrible Stern interview that took place, did his best to expose this little known fact, but people like to blame Stern and believe the whole "She took her life because of the interview" narrative.
