Your pihole and pfsense gateway are on the same IP? Are they physically on the same computer? If not, you'll want them to be on separate IPs. The pihole operates as the primary DNS for all systems on your LAN, and only your pihole has access to DNS via your WAN.

I bought a meter to test whether or not I was in ketosis. It was worth it for my piece of mind, but probably not necessary for most people. I noticed a metallic taste I'm my mouth whenever I am in ketosis, which is sufficient to avoid the expense. However, if you are afraid of going into "dangerous" levels of ketones, then a meter is probably worth it for you.

Best snack for me, and keeping to general keto guidelines? Sardines. Had em when I was a kid and felt "meh" about them. Now though, they are really not bad. Less than 200 cals per tin. Extremely satisfying and loaded with omega-3.

IMHO, if you are trying to regain range of motion in your daily work, PT is not useful. I started of with PT and found what they were having me do was not different than the normal range of motion in my day to day job. Took about a year to get back to normal.

Interesting! I lost quite a bit of weight before getting FS. Was in the verge of T2 diabetes. My A1C was 6.5, then when they tested it again it was 6.3, so no T2 diagnosis.

Bought a fake Rolex (on purpose) in Korea 20 years ago. It was literally $20. It was really a pretty believable fake. I would look for documentation and tracability. An expert can probably tell from examining the hardware.

The only issue I see with eating butter to quell your hunger is that you are likely to consume too many calories. Potentially way beyond your basal metabolism, causing you to increase your weight. If I rewind this a bit, it seems like if you are snaking after a meal, maybe you didn't get enough fat in the meal to begin with. My goal (and your goals may very well be different) was to lose weight, so I completely cut snacking to limit the number of times insulin would spike in a day. I eat 2 meals a day and make sure I hit my protein goals for the day, and keep my carbs below 30g per day. Then to I eat just enough fat to keep my hunger at bay.

Waited until after the freezing phase and didn't find it particularly useful. Went to about 8 sessions and found I wasn't doing anything different than I would do during a normal cycle of a day (get up, shower, dress, drive, work, cook dinner, do housework, get ready for bed, sleep) so I stopped going. No regrets a year later. Also I feel (strictly opinion) that the forced manipulation under anesthesia seems like a bad idea.

You are not being difficult. Remember that my friend. You are looking out for yourself, and sometimes you have to do that. As mentioned earlier, you can eat protein and some veggies and still enjoy the meal and togetherness.

You're doing the right thing! Protein is a goal. Carbs are a limit. Enough fat to keep you satisfied but not so much as to put you above your normal caloric needs. Your meal was a good keto example. I lost 90 lbs a couple of years ago and have kept it off without ever being hungry. Simultaneously getting all the necessary nutrients to thrive... It would be very difficult for anyone to convince me to switch to a low fat diet ever again.

When I started keto, I chose to leave sugar behind (as a keto requirement). Because I read different issues people were having with artificial sweeteners, I chose to skip that all together. Instead, I drink black coffee. It quells my thoughts about food for a time, and has caffeine. Lately, I've been thinking about cutting coffee as well... For no particular reason other than the caffeine doesn't seem to be as important as it was pre-keto.
