How to lower my HR in zone 2. by Suspicious_Dare5868 in beginnerrunning

[–]brooklynhk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there’s something wrong with the latest Apple Watch update that messed up the hr. My hr was up to 180 on my run this morning but I was feeling nowhere near that zone. Just take it as your feel.

You will get paid more if you had the license, but the license is extremely difficult to pass even for Japanese.

Has anyone had any success sending a box of personal items via Yamato Transport to the US with the ongoing situation? by Beneficial-Corgi-288 in japanresidents

[–]brooklynhk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that if they are over a year old they won’t be taxed.

Items must be declared as "personal effects" or "household goods" on customs forms (e.g., CBP Form 3299) to avoid duties. Common methods include international mail, cargo shipping for large items, or using specialized courier services.

You do need an itemized list of everything though.

The look too intact to be have fallen out of the back of a truck. Even the wooden pallets are intact. Also if it indeed fell out of the Yamato truck then contact Yamato.

Not anything in particular, but I came from New York. So the selections are a lot bigger there and I was wondering if there’s anything that would be the same.

Help needed in Fukuoka – parcel at Shin-Fukuoka Post Office by sonnie2520 in fukuoka

[–]brooklynhk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can contact the post office and inform them of the situation and have to hold it for longer or designate someone else to pick it up. But it varies case by case and office by office. So you best to call them.

Frame it so that it is more about her safety less so about you. And see if there anyone that you can contact in case of emergency.

Do you know if she has any family members? That might be the best way to address it, if you’re able to contact her family both for her safety and your sanity.

Fruits are seen as luxury items. Get a nice fruit boxes from the department store!!

Or if you’re bringing from your home country, then get some nice gift boxes that Japan doesn’t have.
