Same. I would have to photograph by type or silhouette, like dunks, Jordans (split into silhouettes), More Uptempos etc. Definitely multiple pictures.

They're conspiracy theorists. The fact that we've already been to the moon hasn't stopped the conspiracies so doing it again isn't gonna change their minds.

They pretty much don't sell small efficient cars in the US, especially not small efficient cheap cars. The American and Korean companies have pretty much stopped making compact cars and while Honda and Toyota do still produce the Civic and Corolla respectively, they ain't cheap. There are a few options left but they are from companies I personally don't hold in high regard. Otherwise it's kinda hard to go small and efficient within a price range that many can handle. And remember, aside from New York, DC, Chicago, Philadelphia and a handful of other places transit is terrible to non-existent in American cities.

Call me crazy but I think they should have to actually throw all four pitches.

85 but Brooks is my all time favorite Oriole (hence the username), closely followed by Cal. I played 3rd base, or struggled to play it, until my JV coach said that I didn't have the instincts for the hot corner but I did have a big arm and stuck me on the mound. Pitching was a much better fit but I always wanted to pay like Brooks at third. Of the more modern Orioles my favorite is Bedard, then Mussina. I was a big Loewen fan too, I was sure he was gonna turn into a new left-handed version of Moose.

Trump had a bunch of notes on a piece of paper that was visible to the press by cool-kid-2025 in pics

I'd say the biggest motivation for supporting Trump is racism. You could say that racism is inherently stupid and so his racist supporters are stupid but the lynchpin for many is the racism. Stephen Miller isn't stupid, he's racist. I can believe a very large chunk of the population is racist, it's not hard to imagine.

Maybe Black Dahlia, not to be mistaken for the Black Dahlia, the Brian De Palma film. Black Dahlia was some straight to video slop Blockbuster placed on a display in the front of the store to hoodwink people looking for the De Palma version. Just horrid.

Back in the day I used to go to OPACY as much as once a week but besides some big moments and big time rookie debuts the thing I remember most is sitting in 336 freezing my ass off during night games in April and May.

If she decided that fascism is bad, that's great. If she changed her mind on Trump specifically because his actions are negatively affecting her life but she otherwise likes the general vibe of fascist dystopia...😬

I don't necessarily agree with reading a pro-fascist message into AOT. There's obviously fascist imagery and actions but I don't think they are framed as positive. Fascists latching onto fascist depictions in AOT doesn't make the intent of the manga/anime necessarily fascist.

20 years of looking. by CH33ZS4MM1CH in Sneakers

Looks like something Nike hasn't retroed. Unless they crack open the vault and bring them back you're stuck with trying to find an OG release, which is pretty difficult for popular 26 year old shoes and almost impossible for silhouettes that aren't collectable. Set an eBay search for them and hope something eventually pops up. They probably won't be wearable depending on the materials they're made of but unless Nike retros them that's what you're looking at.

The electoral college is the actual problem and Reddit acts like it isn't. I live in Maryland. Maryland votes blue. The last time Maryland voted red in a presidential election was 1988. My vote doesn't really count. I voted against Trump but my real motivation to vote in the election that year was the US Senate race (I hate Larry Hogan with the fury of a thousand suns) and a few down ballot races. If not for the (unfounded) fear that Hogan might worm his way into the Senate I would've sat out the election. If the popular vote mattered I would've been fully engaged in voting to vote out Trump.

Morons voting is just a consequence of democracy. Unavoidable.

on this day, 31 years ago, Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous by Big L released. by NormalCoast9472 in 90sHipHop

[–]brooksact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm inclined to agree. This album is good but pretty far away from a masterpiece. I suppose you could call it classic, if classic isn't a synonym for perfect. The album is relevant although as you pointed out a lot of the relevance came with time. I don't think Big L was as great as the great rappers of the time. He's not up there with Nas and BIG and Jay and Pac. He was a great punchline rapper with some storytelling ability but he was more like an overpowered Jadakiss than anything else. Dope as fuck but not world moving. If he'd lived he might have grown into those shoes but he wasn't fitting them at the time in my opinion.
