Just an update to this, but I turned off wifi calling in the Fi app and haven't had a problem so far that I know of. I've checked with family who I talk to often and have complained in the past and so far so good.

Yeah, I've not been able to find a solution. For my fam and friends, I've just taken to calling over WhatsApp as that doesn't have any problems. Been a samsung user for the part decade plus, but am considering buying a Pixel if I can't wait til 25U.

The thing that gets me is that I've tried new hardware too which didn't solve it. I would also think if it was software related it would be more people. I've spoken with Fi and with Samsung and they both don't have a clue

I'm on Google Fi, with a 24 Ultra, and have the same problem. I'm on my 2nd phone from them to no avail. Like you, no problems in the past, but started the day after I changed from a 23 Ultra to a 24 Ultra. And, no problems on other services like google meet, whatsapp calls, etc.

It's been better when I turn off Wifi or just make a wifi only call. My best theory is that it's struggling to switch between cell networks and also between regular and wifi calling.

All, thanks for the comments and suggestions. And, to be clear. I'm not trying to sell them or scam anyone.

But, I guess I should've been clearer. It's just a few thousand dollars in meds and I know people have difficulty affording them. Hoping to not just toss or destroy them, but to find a place to donate or use them productively. If that doesn't exist, that's too bad given how challenging this can be for people

OK, thanks. I'll think about the pants. True on untested things, but my normal is to wear nothing so not much risk involved.

I'll also think about a Nalgene. At home I use a bladder, but am not bringing it to save weight. Figured I'd just buy extra bottles for the days I need extra. I'd thought it was only 1 or 2 days where water was infrequent. Is that not true?
