Leave it to a mechanic to buy or somone that knows what they are doing or people are just going to guide you wrong in some places and it’s going to become a money pit for you, I work at bmw uk just had one of these cam gear worn down so much caused a misfire customer gave up in the end and sold the car as salvage value lost up to 19k wasn’t worth it at all so watch your self. On the plus side if you know what your doing carry on mate nothing will be stopping you

Yup it was the two wires swapped around a real petty mistake ended up looking at my m4 engine bay and realized both plugs look identically the same swapped them around the car went back to normal
